I heard a sermon on Acts 2… I was so excited to learn more. I went to the pastor, “How do I receive this?!” He responded, “Oh, that all died out with the Apostles.” Crushed. How can he stand and preach with no hope. He didn’t follow up with questions or a Gospel invitation. I was very young and thought God lost his power. I went off on a long, lonely search. If God is weak there must be something else. I looked in all the wrong places. Praise the LORD-He found me, delivered me from Satanic grip and gave me Jesus Christ. Born again, baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Jesus! Amazing Grace!

Acts 2:17; And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

Yes… we need God’s gift of revelation that the Spirit brings in truth based in the truth of God’s Word… fellowship with the Spirit of Christ opens to us his wisdom and love confirmed in the Bible. Test the dream, vision or prophecy. But don’t throw out out the gifts… when did God turn off the water of His power. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. May God give us grace to hear and know when He is moving in our lives and churches. Don’t deny the power of God!

Mike gendron said there's certain things that evangelism is not its not imposing our beliefs its not getting people to accept Jesus we want them to trust Jesus to believe in Jesus to have faith in Jesus
