It’s lovely to see BaoBao interacting with his baby. I’ve only seen one video of the two of them previously and BaoBao didn’t seem too interested in Kiango, at least in that moment (probably important to note BaoBao was eating 🦍🥕🥦🥒in the first interaction I saw between them) so it’s great to see them having positive interactions. I find it hilarious that being an annoying mother is something we share with all the beautiful primates, the cleaning of the face at all times! All mothers and grannies do this, I remember as a child being annoyed with my mama or granny constantly wiping my face! 😂👍🏾

🥰🥰 Oh my heart - what a beautiful video! BaoBao’s group are such a peaceful bunch and I love how they all adore Kiango and encourage his playfulness. Even BaoBao has an indulgent little smile for his tiny son’s antics! Kiango is such a busy little man, running around playing and getting kisses and cuddles from his mama and aunty. BaoBao’s babies are 😇 blessed. Never experience BaoBao watching how his parents were killed in front of him. This is way people saw his sad facial expressions when he first shown in Taipei as 2 years young only. His sad facial expressions broke our hearts 💕 we bless BaoBao and his family happiness forever!

BaoBao is very gentle to kiango, the video of father and son grabbing branches is very funny😄 Watching some videos, Aunt Nemsi loves Kiango very much, she gave her nephew a hug and kiss today💗 BaoBao seems to be getting thinner, I hope he eats more and gets stronger😉 BaoBao對kiango特別溫柔，父子搶樹枝的畫面很逗趣😄 觀察一些影片，阿姨Nemsi 很疼Kiango，今天給侄子一個擁抱跟親吻💗 BaoBao好像變瘦，希望他多吃點東西，變壯😉

Yes he is very gentle indeed. And indeed Nemsi loves Kiango too! They're trying the best they can to feed him extra. He is a bit picky when it comes to the food. And his abdominal isn't in the best shape. But I was very happy to see he came to the feeding place that's already a very good thing ;)

@@candykay2585 About 1,5 year ago they found out he has a heart condition and some abdominal issues. The heart condition is under control with the best medical support. He is a lucky guy for living in Holland I guess where they've got so much medical support. He lost a lot of weight but he is gaining it again luckily!

More then a year ago we've heard he has got a heart condition and some abdominal problems. But he has been getting the best care, gained a lot of weight and did look better. As of this moment I don't know how he is doing because the park is closed for visitors from november til the end of march. So in april you'll see an update on how he is doing.v

I've developed a great love for great apes and am particularly fond of the funny babies. I watch Kintaro at the Kyoto Zoo in Japan, too. The zoo pictured here seems a wonderful place for the apes and keeps them safe from poachers in the wild.

Hi Jan, I don't put it in every description but BaoBao has a serious heart condition and abdominal problems (we already know this for about 1,5yrs). They already made him gain a lot of weight but he indeed is too thin compared to other silverbacks. He gets more food and on more occasions then others. They weigh him every morning so they try really hard to keep this boy healthy.
