I ..and my family and friends have watched this video probably nearing 100 times. If anybody gets down or depressed just watch this video. I love a lot of the comments from the other viewers because I think it is interesting how each person makes a comment about something specific that Lily did. And there's the beauty of this entire video ...the entire thing from start to finish is absolutely adorable. The way her little temper starts and makes her start raising her voice, and clenching her little fists and going back and forth between both parents defending herself is so awesome. The highlight (if you can pick just one) is where her father tries to trick her into admitting she touched the food and said "you did it with your right hand didn't you"......and Lily didn't pause, or skip a beat and started right back in with a perfect...NO, I DDDDOIINT TOUCHA FOOD. Absolutely love it. Our family now talks like Lily when there is any disagreements and it's so funny because it always makes the situation much easier for everyone...and then my mom always says....let's watch Lily.

The parents ganged up on her. To adults, it's amusing to watch the kid defend herself. To the kid, it's terrifying having two adults bigger than her tell her that she is wrong and overreacting to something as innocent as touching food. Bet you the rest of her life, her fight or flight impulses will be up for no reason because her subconscious has already been affected by these parents' overreactions. Also, when children lie, it's because parents overreact to the smallest things. Honesty in children is encouraged when the adults gently teach them when they make mistakes and do not make a ruckus over every little thing.
