Season one of the cartoon had the exact same animation model sheets as the movie with the only revisions to said model sheets being made to the head before the airing of season 2. You can find all of the plus the revisions online. Therefore, anything that isn't 1 for 1 the cartoon is simply artistic diversion. He may not be 1 for 1 to the cartoon like something like MP-44, but personally I think he's better for it. Fantastic looking rendition of G1 Optimus.

Yeah the model sheets for the movie look like the cartoon but he doesn’t in the movie. This toy is legit tho.

@@garrythegremlin Well, he does look different every single frame just due to the nature of hand drawn animation and human error/stylization, but yeah they definitely follow the same guides
