Last year, I created a pre-holiday exercise for myself and some of my clients. We got crystal clear on exactly what we were willing to do during the holiday season, and which aspects we wanted to avoid. The purpose of the exercise was to ensure we protected our sleep as best we could during what can be a horribly stressful time for many people.
Seeing what got in the way of my sleep during the holiday season was a real eye-opener!
