It's the devourerererer of Skiff bags! I've had these guys on my radar for a while. QC is almost always on point. Their button locks always have good geometry on the plunge, which gives them that better "detent" feeling. Looking forward to checking this one out.

58-62HRC Is a wild range. I don't get why most companies that use M390 (or the equivalent) won't just harden it to the recommended 61-63HRC. At least then when they coat blades it should still stay above (or around) 60, which should be the absolute minimum acceptable hardness on a modern premium knife. They spend so much time on improving machine quality and fancy designs (which is a good thing), but at least put some of the effort and R&D into HT protocols and testing. At this point, I'm not sure if many of these companies know the difference between toughness and edge stability. Thanks for the video Kev, I really like the look of the designs of the blades this dude makes.

dude you are too funny when describing how the button lock works on this knife. and the plunger "kind of locks into the blade". this type of lock is probably the last type of lock i would consider as well. but what do mean by kinda locks the blade. it doesnt just kinda lock the blade. the lock up is solid. right? take the knife your giving us your impressions on and show us how it just kinda locks the blade. and earlier its like you almost forgot it was a button lock you practically forced yourself to say you would buy the mini... classic! got me laughing from buying the mini up until how a plunge simply sucks! i love your channel man. take care
