Also, my DCH263 is on the way from AU Amazon right now. Finally had a reason to get one hence discovering your channel recently. Thank you for your reviews of this tool and others in the yellow range. XXOO

Congrats! IMO, that's the best value hammer on the market. Are you in Australia?

@@BoltahDownunder agreed! If I ever need to drill in a tight space I might get a smaller one, or if I ever need to do HD work I might get a max, but this should be enough for most of my needs for a long time. Clue: you, I, and a well spoken POHM all pronounce "fish and chips" very differently in theory. Only through an excellent education and intentionally and intensively trying hard to do better do I NOT say it "fush and chups" ;-)

These videos are great! Keep em coming! I just picked up the Dewalt 133 and I'm tempted to swap it out for the 26D Bosch. Got 2 powerstack batteries and the 133 for USD 200. I have both brands in various tools. I like how quiet the Bosch is.. Tough decision here 😅

Wow that's a good deal! Personally I think Bosch is a little nicer to use, feels nicer in the hand, but DeWalt typically performs a little better

1.7Ah powerstack is more like a 4Ah 10 cell or maybe 5Ah 10 cell out of the gate, but fades if you keep the acid on in my experience. I use them on impacts smaller drills, multitool, jigsaw, biscuit jointer, orbital, etc, some of those only for small jobs, though. Just gives the same short term punch without the size and weight. Good little batteries, I have 5, and one 5Ah version to play with. I got mine for 100nzd each, though.

Yeah, thanks for that, some good insights. Broadly, it offers a smaller size option for all the 18v tools, including the really high demand tools like DeWALT’s circ saws, router, jigsaw etc. Runtime? Not for that, but it’s fine for a builder doing a punch list, or a DIYer doing odd jobs. Options are great.

Can you make a video about which rotary hammer can do the most holes with the same battery and drillbit? meaning for example use a 2Ah battery and lets say a 10mm drill x 7cm deep and see how many holes it can do with the dch172 vs dch263, just to compare which tool is like more energy efficient with the same battery and same drill.

I am doing that, but over many videos sorry. The most recent runtime test is in this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaaslYasnZKsoZI Are you looking for a specific drill you want to know? Maybe I've done the test already but not published it yet

Dewalt Powerstack just released 18V 5Ah 😃. Is great to see the normal 5Ah vs Powerstack 5Ah

It's not out here yet but I'm looking forward to it! Pretty cool bit of hardware

I'm looking forward to the bigger powerstacks, or even powerstack flexvolt 🤞.
@BoltahDownunder2 жыл бұрын
Flexvolt powerstack?! You're mad, that'd be too much power for a man to handle🤯

Which tool you recommend of the two?
@BoltahDownunder Жыл бұрын
Depends on your requirements! Small jobs, the small one, big jobs or don't know, the big ones a good choice. But the dch133 is probably better for like occasional/diy/don't know-but-want-one situations

you have some high prices there, in europe the powerstack has the same price as the 5Ah battery (I bought some with 60 euros each one)
@BoltahDownunder2 жыл бұрын
Wow that's cheap! Like 88AUD. Meanwhile, powerstack retails for 143AUD &5ah is 135. Usually these things are comparable with say Europe and Canada, but more than US Bloody Australia tax!
@Basaham12 жыл бұрын
The concept of the powerstack is excellent, but currently for the price and runtime, i Prefer the 5.0 Ah battery.
