Favorite Jimmy G moment was when he went toe to toe with Drew Bree’s in that saints game back in 2019, when he hit Kittle for that 40 yard reception on 4th and 2. Such an understated point. I'm sick of these franchises and fans who know nothing about qb development and just expect these young qbs with no experience to go out and beat defensive coordinators whove been in the game for decades. I think thats why we see so many running qbs being the darlings. The threat expands offense but their constant scrambling just shows either low football iq, bad lines or awful qb coaching (which I think is almost completely overlooked).

And it wasn't Garoppolo that lost us those games, it was Shanahan's play calling. He did it as OC in Atlanta in the Super Bowl, he did it as HC in San Francisco in the Super Bowl, and he did it in the NFC Championship game last year. Yet Garoppolo unfairly gets all the hate.

He threw 55 completed passes of 20+ yards in 2021. Just checked the advanced stats. Definitely a solid number. Not bad. Puts him 9th in the league for that stat. Idk what you’re trying to accomplish by saying this tho lol. He’s genuinely a good qb. And currently way better than trey lance.

Look folks , Nick Wrong is at it again with his Nonsense . The 49ers ARE better off with Jimmy G . All he has done is win with the 49ers , in the Regular Season anyway 😂 He has had some Playoff Success . The 49ers went to the Conference Title last Season with Jimmy G , so that has to be a big boost for team moral . That's why the 49ers kept Jimmy G around , and the Players were thrilled when Jimmy G took over the Starting QB job . Trey Lance was not Ready . He is just another Jordan Love thrust into a Starter Role unwarranted ok . Great Physicall Tools / Attributes , But No Great Football IQ to go with it .

Cowboys had 14 penalties and terrible coaching, Packers couldn't score a TD after the first drive with Rodgers at home, Rams gave the game away two different times and they still won, Niners got lucky and Jimmy G did not play well in any of those games, only hope for the niners is that the NFC sucks right now

But At least the 49ers have a Cross / Uppercut to go behind a a Jab now with Jimmy G . Trey Lance had swings and misses . Trey will bounce from team to team eventually as a Backup .

Trey just doesn’t have enough experience. I don’t think he’s started 10 games combined in college and NFL. While Jimmy G isn’t great they have a much better chance of doing something with him at QB.
