Maybe she starts out some of these characters from similar tempered characters she has played before, as she develops their own identities. But because they've lived in her mind for a while earmarked as "variation of x" during an intense preparation phase before it comes natural and gets it own life, that might be how she retrieves some of them. Or just random brainfarts like the rest of us, either way it was very funny xD

I was a teenager when Titanic came out in 1997,and I remember that when someone was going to see the movie for the first time other friends would say 'l envy you,l wish l could watch it again for the first time '. That film is so powerful and really takes you on a journey,love story,tragedy,the truth of history,gut-wrenching,the first time you watch it really leaves you breathless. I completely get younger generations talking to Kate about seeing it for the first time... Ah,and I obviously adore Kate,since Heavenly creatures,phenomenal actress and wonderful person

I love Ms. Winslet. Such a down-to-earth woman. She seems so genuine, so real, understands life in general. She's done so many great roles, so many memorable roles. Kate is phenomenal. I didn’t know her until Titanic, but found her striking so I’d rented the few films she’d done up until then and discovered that she was a complete chameleon. In Heavenly Creatures, she was onscreen for ten minutes before I finally realized it was Kate. Eternal Sunshine… is hands down my favorite movie.

It's truly awesome how Kate Winslet got to do a second movie with Leonardo DiCaprio after "Titanic." While it was sad that Kate's character April died near the end of "Revolutionary Road" it left me hoping that someday Kate and Leo will do a third film together where neither of their characters lose their lives.

This particular movie is the one that brakes my heart every time I even see a glimpse of it and I am not a romantic person. The script (brilliant Kauffman) is extremely moving and has so much truth to tell. Kate and Jim are extraordinary good in it, the chemistry and realness is unseen and this is one of the movies that age so well… my God, and the music that just stays in your head for years. It’s a masterpiece… but if you have a living heart better have a tissue nearby
