Dr. Lim I wish you were in m neighborhood, I'd try to see you ASAP. I believe I have melasma. I am preparing for my wedding in 2 months, and have been positively treating my spots with retinol/vit c products and was beginning to have a noticeably more even skin tone. Then a week ago, I purchased a led lamp with high ratings from amazon. 660nm/850nm, and began doing 10-20 min treatments on my face and body, sometimes 1 or 2x a day for the last 6 days. Well, yesterday I was horrified to see that suddenly, THERE ARE NEW SPOTS THAT POPPED UP ACROSS BOTH UPPER CHEEKS!!! And my overall tone, WORSE THAN WHEN I BEGAN THEN LAMP. I don't know what I've done wrong, or how I will correct what just got worse over 6 days, because I have 2 months until my wedding day. :(

Thank you so much for this video! I personally love blue light for my skin. I live in Bris and was wanting to get laser to treat melasma on my very pale skin. Not particular freckles, just a wash of mild melasma darkening my upper cheeks and forehead. Which pico wavelength is best for this, the 755nm or 1064nm wavelength? Topical hydroquinone isn't tolerated by my skin and no significant improvement with long term tret. Love your channel, as always!

Dr. Lim, what about infrared, not near-infrared light? Is it dangerous? I noticed that some masks have infrared wavelengths ( 880nm).
