Does living in a campervan SUCK? (OUR REALITY!)

Do we hate vanlife? Does vanlife suck? Is living in a campervan hard? Or do we have the best time travelling full time in our self built Sprinter campervan - Dee Dee??
This week we take you on a typical day in the van life whilst we are on the French island of Corsica. We show you where we wake up in our van, what we do for fun and where we spend the day exploring. This is honestly what our daily non-working days look like 99% of the time, we love it and we wouldn't change anything about how we live van life in a campervan.

☕️“Who stirs like this?”…..my husband does 😂. I thought he was unique 😂. Magnificent drone footage. Pretty long climb on narrow roads but well worth the views. Accidentally watched the Sardinia before this one. While watching I realised I had accidentally skipped this one. This one is longer so happy about that. Not complaining, but at least 20 minutes or even longer, is fine by me. Love watching with my coffee, stirring my sugar, not beating it 😉😄 and taking the time to enjoy the video. 🙋‍♀️

Aw Mary thanks so much for going back and making sure you didn't skip a video! We try to make any vid between 12-20 mins - some are naturally shorter as want to keep the pace high and no that sometimes people get distracted haha so their attention is lower after 15 mins. I would have to say there is no more relaxing, dream inspiring sound than waves washing upon the shore. The aroma of saltwater and even seaweed brings floods of memories of my childhood. The thumbnail title reminds me of an old comedy movie or a Saturday Night Live skit. Where a guy shows off his new tattoo saying "No Regerts!" Great to see you both back on the road taking in little bits of dream scapes. 👍🌞🏝🌊

I completely agree! I think i read once that being near water, whether it's sea or fresh, instantly brings people's stress levels down. It was a study I think. Something to do with the amount of water in our bodies maybe and the connection? Or that floating in water reminds us of being back in the womb 🤣 It was really enjoyable for us to make a slower paced video for a change - much more wholesome and a real life view. We loved the cows and their bells too! Every morning and night they would take themselves for a walk and then the goats with their mountain dog guardian would come by. It was so wholesome.

Love that! Our exact intention with this video was to show the slow Sunday reality and the happiness that random travel days bring us. What kind of camper do you guys have Peter? Norfolk is a beautiful place to live although we've never taken the camper there as we've heard its not very van friendly with lots of height barriers. Sorry to here your elderly parents are needing a bit more of your time these days but we hope they are in good health

@@courtsandmeeks We have an old VW California, it does the job, we are used to the lack of space, but where we can we put up the drive away awning, it only takes about 10 mins. You are right about height, one of the reasons we got the van, but there are places in Norfolk/Suffolk where even a van as high as yours can go. There is so much to see and do in this country. We also have a dog, he loves the van, you only have to pick the keys up, open the front door and he’s there by the side door of the van! Corsica looks brilliant, I would like to take the van to Europe, but that will be a while yet, all depends on what the other half says. Anyway carry on with this brilliant adventure, it’s giving me lots of ideas !
