That sounded very sexist.. It shouldn't matter who explains what.. They are just people explaining stuff, It shouldn't come down to gender. It would be considerate that you remember this when you comment otherwise it comes across as being sexist or bias towards other genders. Remember we are all equal and we all can achieve everything we want in life regardless of gender. This goes for you too @Firefly and I, seeing that you loved this comment.

@@Meatcleaver101 I'm all for equality. Please read my comment properly and don't just come off to pick an argument. I just said it's lovely and not very usual. I really wanted to appreciate the way the video was expertly done. I'm sure she understands and takes that in a positive way. And friend, it's not about communication but perception. And if your lens are foggy, I can't be of much help.
@Meatcleaver1014 жыл бұрын
@@Priyankhab12 Well if bias is a factor then you learn nothing and think only one way.. Just like a horse that wears blinders to stop them from turning in other directions. A bit like comment about perception, Your perception, that this being "The most comprehensive & Clear video" merely shows that you haven't watched alot of the Professional videos available on KZbin and/or most watched video from people that have been doing this for alot longer than Firefly. Having said this I base my comment on the statement that you made saying that you had spent 4 years watching videos like these would suggest that you were only searching for particular videos that included after a while a theme that you were searching for. This maybe a clue to your bias and that I may be the one who is actually seeing things clearly and that your vision may be foggy? A bit like your last comment towards me.. Don't hate the Ref for calling your foul... Play fair and by the rules and have fun.

Given my new business was shut down by Pandemic and I now believe I see the need to focus on nothing other than getting myself healthy again. I do believe this is my answer to maintain my independence. That alone will be instrumental before I can even think about "finding myself" again. I think I will take my upcoming small settlement (car demolished on top of everything else in 2020) and put it to use in just this way. Though I have no fear... Finally! I’ve probably seen hundreds of van builds and yours is the first that I’ve seen that has an RV stove which is an absolute must have for me. I’m a retired Chef and really want an oven in my build. I detest microwaves and they use a crazy amount of power. I’ve also been struggling with the propane set up. I didn’t want a huge propane tank on the underside of the van and have to find propane filling stations. Having the bottles like you do makes it so easy to swap out from literally anywhere (convenience stores, hardware stores, etc). And that Bluetooth monitoring tool solves my problem of knowing how much propane is left in the tank. Thanks for showing that an RV stove is absolutely doable in a van with swap out propane tanks, you just solved two huge issues I’ve been struggling with. I’ll use more for cooking, but plan to install a webasto style heater that runs off the gas tank, so that should offset the usage. I just subscribed, great stuff! (PS love the home theater, another must have for my build!).
@Tiny.Wayfinders4 жыл бұрын
I am so glad it could help! I like being able to just swap out the tanks as well. And really, even with using my stove and oven every day AND my propex heater a few times I am still at 44% full almost 8 weeks into living in here!

The gaming role play with Sterling made me so happy I started laughing out loud:) That was the moment I decided to sub. So creative to think of, plan, and execute that fun bit. People like you make the world more fun and exciting and unexpected.

My parent's had an antique business in the 70s & 80s. We lived near Canada. The van was so cold in the winter. My Dad put wood paneling throughout the inside with insulation behind it and carpet on the wood floor he built. It made it so much warmer for us kids waiting on them or traveling on cold winter days. We could nap, play cards, play board games and my Mom always brought an old portable 1880s wood potty with porcelain bowl inside of it. It had a wood cover. Reminds me of his ingenuity.

I can totally relate to you enjoying being alone especially as I get older. I'm very happy being alone and I don't have a lot of friends. Of course I'm married so I have the company of my husband, but outside of my marriage I'm fine not having many friends. Be safe out there!

You and Firefly and your dog are the cutest. I love the Sage trim. I would leave the propane where it is since you have the Bluetooth monitor, don't need to access it that often versus how often you use your other gear. Whatever is more convenient for you. I want a van one day and will save this video for reference. Great video.

I've watched a lot of these videos and I'd love to live this life but I just can't afford it right now nor do I know if I ever will be. And with the way the world seems to be going (cvd 19, possible zombie apocalypse) this type of living seems like it would be perfect. One of the things that would be important to me is the bathroom situation and let me just say I love the concept and tidiness of nature heads composting toilet...the end!!!
@Tiny.Wayfinders4 жыл бұрын
Hahaha possible zombie apocalypse for sure!! As far as affordability, you can always start small and build up!
@annagibbons59494 жыл бұрын
@@Tiny.Wayfinders I have just decided that is what I will do. Start small and work up. Van living isnt gonna be the end game for me as I live with my mother and she is leaving me her house. But somewhere to begin with for weekend get aways or couple of weeks holidays. I was always iffy on van conversions as am a chef and while I am ok with the induction hob I would prefer an oven over microwave. Good to know that is an option. Food for thought. Camper Van's dont appeal to me. But a van conversion would be ok even for parking at home when not on the road.
@nothinbutlove2153 жыл бұрын
You're awesome, I really like your energy (as I'm typing that you showed your bag of costumes 🤔😍) I won't pry and ask what kinds of situations come up that the costumes come in handy You have your pup best friend you can have, I think I have the same feelings about being alone it doesn't really bother me unless something comes up that would be cool to have someone around... I'm just learning this style so once in a while I think what am I doing cause I spend longer and longer between stopping by and hanging with friends. I'm in my 2993 Envoy so storage is horrible cause I have all my tools, clothes, and whatever else. I deff understood what you mean about laundry and trash accumulating the trash not that big a deal for me cause I'm in Philadelphia PA so you know I stop at the convenience store or gas station and toss what's ever ags of trash out it's just getting myself to the laundromat because I usually venture out of the city the suburbs to go to Parks or go fishing and you know who the hell really wants to do laundry anyway LOL I'll figure it out.. it is mixed feelings about being by yourself so much for the most part it doesn't bother me sometimes it does or sometimes I'll sit there and I'm like wow my phone hasn't even rang like nobody gives a shit about me nobody would even know if something happened to me.. but I get over that pretty quick because I think about it and for the most part people suck anyway to me there's no such thing as normal at all so if I'm happy with what I'm doing and I'm content I'm not hurting anybody and it's my life I don't care what anybody else thinks about it. What amazes me though is when people see you when you're still the same you and you're still moving forward with life and growing and it's like they're surprised because they think you're supposed to be this homeless bum who went crazy and I just laugh at it cause I'll never be a homeless bum I was born crazy.. Really tho who's the crazy ones I think breaking free from societies bullshit ways is smart and it takes a little bit to me crazy it's not seeing the bullshit that everybody calls in their own lives worrying about every other person and thing going on around them that should have no effect on them if they just chose to not concern themselves with the things they're concerned with or let the stuff that occupies their head occupy their head and fester that's crazy... Okay sorry for the rent I just wanted to give you a thumbs up and say thanks for making the video.. have fun and be safe!
