With that said, I still think Malaysia could have been more understanding of the circumstances Brandi’s had to deal with given that they were close for so many years. To be so shut off emotionally and ambivalent towards someone who was your best friend while they are dealing with grief just seems a little off to me. But I did appreciate Malaysia’s “I am a lot of things you don’t like” comment. That was a little insight to her self-awareness and maturity.

Malaysia did really changed though. Like at the first scene she clearly stated that she is now in her own grind status for her family. She grew and part of that growth was her not seeing Brandi for 3 years so that should tell Brandi something. Malaysia has moved on but Brandi has not.

I'm really rooting for them, I am. I think Malaysia is the type of person that can truly move on and stop caring while Brandi will always have a soft spot for the people she let into her heart. Even, her mentioning like, now that you do know my dad passed, why didn't you reach out? The misconception of life is that ppl think you’re entitled to keep up with them after you drop them off in life, that’s not the case. Ppl swear you watch their every move on socials or you’re always talking about them or asking about them & that couldn’t be further from the truth. Sadly I don’t think Malaysia knew. Her whole face changed when she said “Wolf died.” But to put aside 3 Years of estrangement immediately is a difficult feat to ask of anybody. Brandy has misplaced hurt & anger that she’s taking out on Malaysia because instead of crying out to her & saying “I wanted you there more than anybody.” She’d rather tell her she has character flaws & insult her. Neither of these women are perfect but I hope that watching this back they can mend their issues. If not, at least learn to be in the same room & speak without there being conflict.

@@jrburton97 in a previous scene, Malaysia said that she found out that Brandi had COVID from social media and not only was she worried sick cause she couldn't do anything for her but Brandi knew that. How would Brandi know if they didn't talk to each other? 🤔 Brandi had COVID in Sept of 2020, so in order for Brandi to know how Malaysia felt at that time, they had to talk. I could understand them not seeing each other for a while since they live in different states and then COVID happened.... But none of that speaks on this supposed falling out they had. If they talked to each other after Brandi recovered from COVID, I can understand why she's disappointed in Malaysia for not reaching out when her dad died.

It's definitely hard to move on from a friendship, especially one of 15 years. The bonds you form with friends often runs deeper than those with lovers- we often don't realize it and take it for granted, but we rely on our friends to always be there for us no matter what. We trust them completely in a way we don't with our lovers. Malaysia seems like she's over a lot of things, including this show and this group of ladies. I believe Malaysia when she says she doesn’t miss her. When a woman is going through her own transformation to be the better version of herself sometimes she has to leave some friends behind. I’ve seen Brandi in the past exude toxic behavior and when you get to a certain age in life you don’t wanna deal with that s**t. Malaysia,honestly was probably dealing with so much that she didn’t have time to look up and see what Brandi is doing. I took a two-year break from social media when I was going through my own stuff and also having a high-risk pregnancy and didn’t even know that one of my former best friends mom passed. I felt like crap when I found out when she post of Memorial post about her like three years after her death but I was like damn I feel like crap because I knew I didn’t reach out to her. But I could not have reached out to her because I did not know. We were friends since high school we know the same people but people in general don’t always talk about other peoples business just because you know them because they probably made the assumption that that person told you. I think people are surprised that people nowadays actually mind their own business. Wish them both well.

Brandy needs to learn that no one owes her anything regardless if she's going through tough times. Malaysia chose her route.. Brandy needs to accept that and move on, no bond is incapable of being severed.

Brandi misses Malaysia. And from what it seems, when she lost her father she especially missed her and the support Malaysia offered as a friend. Seems like because Brandi expected that support which unfortunately she was not owed given the state of their relationship is what is causing them to fight so much. Brandi is unintentionally centering herself, because she is not understanding everything Malaysia is currently going through and she's reading her "unbothered" attitude as a personal slight when it's literally just a defense mechanism against any unnecessary stress.

She does come across as if she doesn’t care which Brandi can’t handle. Brandi is interpreting it as Malaysia doesn’t care about her or the friendship. Malaysia is my girl and will always be. Based on her character from years of watching basketball wives, she doesn’t seem like a liar. However, I do feel for Brandy as well. I’m not a fan but she’s been through a lot and I just think she feels as if her best friend was absent when she needed her the most and that’s probably where all the hurt and anger stems from. I really wish they make amends. If Malaysia can go in circles with Jackie over the years, then they too can restore their friendship. Brandy will just have to adjust her attitude for them to have a mature conversation.🤷🏾‍♀️

I cut off a long term friend recently it's so hard but it is being kind to yourself. Usually a problem was never addresses bc you love them it's gets worse and eventually unforgivable. Like both of them I had a major thing happen in my life and this friend was not there for me when you combine thates with distance it's so hard to come back bc you each live your own comfortable and separate lives the hurt and realization of everything settled in. So then you feel like what are you truly saving. I think after you heal and grow from it you should just be real and continue to keep that person at a distance but at least find a way to be cordial even if that means geeeting eachother and keeping it moving.

There’s only but so many times you’re going to tell someone they have a flaw in their character before the conversation is over because what is there to resolve after that. Brandi came across before this conversation and during as confrontational and like she wanted to talk at Malaysia rather than to her so I don’t blame her for ending it. Malaysia is a friend that stuck by Brandi through her cancer and on TV when doing it probably almost cost her job so for one missed call to warrant that level of criticism from Brandi speaks a lot on what the dynamic of their friendship has probably always been. Hopefully they’re both happier living their new separate lives.

My dorm RA told me something almost 10 years ago that I think applies to Brandi as well. I’d like to share that. I was having an issue with one of my 3 roommates and he said to me, “you’re one of those ppl who just get it… and not everyone is going to ‘get it’…. And he’s (my roommate) just one of those ppl who don’t get it. And… that’s ok. And you have to understand that” With that being said. I think Brandi “gets it” and in our minds it’s common sense but in the next persons mind it’s not. We have to grasp and understand some folks just aren’t at that point yet.

I feel Brandi pain..she cares and she's upset I would be too. Maylasia is also going through something because to say that you don't miss your friend of 15 years and not knowing her father pass I know is a lie!! You can look in her eyes/face and can tell she miss her. Maylasia pre-pandemic and during she posted on IG and her and Brandi do have mutual friends. So ...honestly if you can throw away a 15 year friendship that's very sad. Especially if your friend lost a parent. Damn even Evelyn was there for Jennifer when her mom died. Life is too short make up and be there for each other.

The tears that Brandi shed. Those tears tell me that she should be able to put her ego to the side and rescue the relationship. Her problem is all ego. Ego will ruin all that a person has worked for and toward. Malaysia has the right to step away from the toxicity that is Brandi, and move on. We don’t know the real reason they fell out, so can’t paint no one the bad guy. I feel like Malaysia has other things going on in her life, and she has outgrown the neediness of their friendship. Brandi is needy and really thinks somebody is concerned about her even though they are not friends anymore. Brandi still cares but attacking someone because your in grief about your father isn’t the way to make things better. Brandi needs to have a maturer way of communication with Malaysia.

Because Brandi was still with her husband and he was willing to try to be better. And Malaysia was trying to convince her to meet him halfway.
