“im a big girl i can handle it myself” is what gets a lot of us in trouble. it’s ok to be independent but when you have a friend who’s willing to listen and be a shoulder to cry on. go to them. they grew apart because they were both handling their own lives but didn’t confide in each other to help each other solve it. they both have outgrown each other during the time they were away and that’s ok. but malaysia knows when to let go and brandi doesn’t. im brandi’s eyes they’re distant best friends and in malaysias eyes they are totally different people with virtually no relationship.

I’ve been in Brandi’s shoes and told a friend you putting a lot on me and then they stopped coming to me altogether and that hurt. I’ve also been Malaysia were I felt I was becoming too dependent on friends and just withdrew from everybody and let go and leg god. I’m glad they came to this understanding though.

I had a friend tell me I was putting too much on her and that hurt because I was NOT telling her things to solve my problems. I just wanted to talk about it to gain clarity. I stopped telling her things. One day she noticed, and said that I stopped talking to her and it made her feel a type of way. We aren't really friends anymore and broke up (friendship)3 times In 5 years so 😂it isn't worth keeping but there was a lot of misunderstandings. I understand both of these girls too.

She'd dump alot of problems about her personal struggles in her marriage, family drama, friendships etc and have me be a soundboard. Only issue I had was her negativity towards my relationships and the fact she'd share EVERYTHING last detail with her husband. Mind you she was the same person having extramarital affairs, which I was against which her husband never knew about. Always made a big deal about her friends who or hubs friends that left their spouses due to marital infidelity yet had the audacity to judge me and my relationships. I'm like girl look in the mirror! Miss her friendship but it became manipulative and dishonest, rather leave that behind me. Whenever she does reach out to me these days shes cold and calculated can't deal with those types of energies

It's the opposite Malaysia wants pity. Malaysia said Brandi was the first person that she called when she decided to leave her ex and was with her through the whole process, but couldn't even give her a phone call about her dad, then tried to switch it around and say it's because she was going through a tough time. It's hard to ge there for someone when you're going through something yourself, but a phone call or a text with your condolences can go a long way.

Communication is Key. Malaysia is right about giving things to God. He said cast all your cares and concerns on him because he cares.1 Peter 5:7 but when you truly and wholeheartedly give it to him you leave it with him.
