This is another vote for the Tech 7 Enduro Drystar. I have these for the serious off road stuff, and a set of Corozals for the touring with a little bit of dirt stuff. I am not sure how they compare to 900 dollar boots, but you can buy two sets so that you and a friend can figure it out.

I have the Revit GForce road boots and they’re the most comfortable pair I’ve owned, actually worn them full day in the office several times under jeans. Need some boots, and purely due to comfort factor of the GForce I would consider. Not sure how the price tag is warranted, I know my GForce are made in Vietnam and still cost me $200… they’re making some serious margin I’d imagine. Will still consider though given protection and comfort. Nice review, keep up the great work!

the price tag is a bit much, but I can say, I haven't met a person that regrets getting them yet. The alpinestarts are great too (from friends telling me) for the lower budgets

@@YankiRides I swear by them . I’ve seen a fellow biker get a metal pole through the gap on his Leats. Not too bad, I had some super glue to seal the cut an stop the blood but, I was so glad I had Mobius bcs the pole or a branch , would just glance off. Needless to say, Stewart gave me a call two weeks later with bruises an all clear on knee probs. Appy to hear. But he had a few quid an bought one Mobius for the cut leg, compared the two an saved up for the other one. I saw him around April time an he’s like me, a solid convert. Boot an brace combo is easy, rock solid an won’t change any time soon. 🙏🙏🏍️🏍️👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧💯💯

The Alpinestars Tech 5s are a little more budget friendly, but still offer a 4 buckle design. The Tech 7s offer a little bit more protection though. I wore 3 buckle TCX boots for the first couple years of riding, and had some big crashes off road and those boots held up just fine and kept me protected, but as I keep growing into it some more... it just makes more sense to have a boot like a Tech 5 or Tech 7, just in case I do need that extra bit of protection. If the extra $200 in cost saves me from screwing my ankle up... then it's worth every penny.

Boots look good. But for $1200. Here. They would want to last at least 6 years without a single fault. They would want to hold up really well on single track, but looking at them they would flex to much if they got hit front on in the toe area. So yeah definitely not worth the $ 1200.
@YankiRides3 ай бұрын
@@holden3083 I can tell you first hand, there is no flex. They have been on serious singles, and through flat track racing, and these things are just as solid as the day I took them out of the box. That being said, it’s a lot of money, and I couldn’t spend it. But they are the best boots I’ve used.
