I am just loving prem gali. It is so enjoyable. I live in a rural area here people live like how characters are living in prem gali. Mateen bhai's character is actually one of an aunty in my mohalla. I can relate to each and every character and all the situations. Hatts off to the entire team.

Kaajal of Sridevi was a loud selfish over the top character but Sridevi instilled soul into that shallow character so much so that she convinced an unforgiving audience to sympathize with her in the end - She took us into her world and I love love Kaajal of Judai - Sonya Hussain is a brilliant- She has an impressive body of work - Whyyyyyyyyyyy this?? You can’t become a Sridevi if you Mimic her - You want to be Sridevi, invest in your character and put soul in it like you always do - DONT copy others -

Well the Serial itself is a Copy....which means every character is copied too....I think she does a great job nailing the character of someone who always wanted Money and suddenly Got this Huge amount....anybody as her in this situation will go Berserk....

sagarika pal agreed! Kaajal of Judai got so berserk that she was actually sleeping with the money on her bed! But Sridevi’s honest dedication to acting is visible in her delivery and overall performance - if she says “wohi to” it sounds real- Sonya Hussain instead of working on developing the character and its nuances decided to take easy routing of copy/paste and ended up making a fool of herself - For instance, being romantic is a repeated emotion we have seen countless times but how come different actors are able to make the same “ghissi pitti” story real and convincing - that’s because they DONT copy and build caricatures out of it - Sonya’s performance is annoying as hell and not funny either - Sridevi was funny and cunning at the same time in the same scene and that’s the craft -

Jalan is now my guilty pleasure too. One of the shows where the central characters are all grey and not "Doodh ke dhule", even Ahmer who treats his own wife like dirt. Now I think there is no glorification as well. I was honestly not liking when Nisha was intruding Meenu's home and fooling her, but now I realise she deserves it. She is still being stupid expecting Asfand to come back to her when he doesn't even care about his baby. Hoping she gets some sense without a miscarriage happening for her, but that seems inevitable too.

I am watching a turkish drama , Black Money, love. A young girl is rescued by police after being kidnapped for days. When she returns all family members embrace her with love, take care of her. Police continues with the investigation. There is no mention of any rape, no melodrama like, ‘tum mar kyoun nahi gai’.......She’s not forced into a ‘bejhor’ marriage after being declared a‘ ACHOOT’. Nobody’s so called ‘ izzat’ is affected. WHY CAN’T WE COME OUT OF THIS VICTIM SHAMING, with and even without rape, (as in our dramas)🤦‍♀️ WHEN WILL WE MATURE AS A SOCIETY!!! 😏 Both Raaz e Ulfat and Tarap, showing the same. 🙄 BTW, Yumna looked ravishingly beautiful as a bride. The colour suited her so much😍.

Has anyone noticed that in most of the dramas the lights and table lamps are on thru out the day - even during the day time. Esp in Mohabbat Tuje Alvida the house lights are always on. I have noticed this in other dramas as well. They sleep with the lights on. The place where lighting is most required is the kitchen - Mohabbat tujhe - but that is always dark. Strange. Exorbitant light bills no? Lol

I cannot comprehend the criteria of selection of nominations in hum social media awards. In my view, actors should only be nominated for their work and popularity due to their work , not for their personal activities and not on how active they are on Facebook, Instagram and the number of followers. I think this would encourage actors to boost their popularity through cheap tactics instead of concentrating on their work. I respect actors who are private and concentrate on their work only. Moreover, we have a few web series,like Ayesha, but there is no category for them or for the actors in them. Their inclusion could have encouraged others to make more.

Sara Yes, you are right, but still I felt actors should not have been included . Why couldn’t it be about shows and web series. Why couldn’t Amna or Hassan or Samina be be nominated as best presenters/ hosts. SH has been nominated because it’s good , right, not only on the number of their subscribers. If it’s popularity and number of subscribers, views and comments, then Amma and tv has more , but wasn’t nominated. So if S H wins , will it be because of the quality of SH or presence of Amna , Hassan on Instagram, Twitter. It’s confusing. Similarly actors in web series could have been nominated.

I am glad you addressed the issue which was bothering me for a while. It's the forced marriage in "Mugaddar". How can a woman fall in live with her abductor? Over time she may accept to live with it and him out of fear for her life and her loved ones but cannot fall in love with him. I watched Deewangi after your review and I must say it was a good series. Much better than two sisters interested in one guy. Danish Taimur was looking amazing and he acted well. Hiba Bukhari was cute and she was acting perfectly. I really liked this series. Please try to watch it now since it’s finished. It has a different taste when you watch it consecutively. We value your reviews a lot but sometimes don’t leave the plays just by watching few episodes and also I heard that he slapped in this series a lot. I didn’t see him slapping any girl. As I said much better than plays like a wife selling her husband to another lady or plays that are copied from neighboring countries. Keep up the good work

I completely agree with you on Muqaddar and I also want to highlight how they’re trying to make the 1st wife seem as if she’s the bigger villain in the show Kashf needs to grow a pair and stand up to her family, if wajdaan getting upset with her is what it takes for her to do that then whatever Raaz e Ulfat is basically a vehicle for patriarchy, I mean the constant character assassination and why does her father feel like he needs to marry off his daughter to the first person willing, why does mushq have to marry someone In bikhray moti how and why does Zulfi have a change of heart, in real life most men don’t change so quickly or in time - I feel like they should’ve mentioned systemic solutions like aiza being able to adopt the children or the father losing parental privileges
