I grew up with, Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Grand Funk Railroad, Alice Cooper, Petty, then GnR, Poison, Metallica, Def Leppard, and on and on, then in the mid to late 90's, rock n roll just died. Except Stephen Tyler and Kid Rock. I first heard Cruce with the Lacs around 2010-11, maybe, and added another type of music to listen to. But, I disliked boy bands, until I heard the parody group, The Merkins, do the Backstreet Boys, a couple years ago. It is parody tho not the actual song, but they sound just like B'Street Boys, sometimes better. I had to look up the real songs and discovered that they weren't all that bad.. The Merkins also do Freddy, Jason, Michael, Ghostface and other horror characters in parody songs. Give them a listen. It's not serious but it is great. I love the Cruce's Albums, I don't have the first one tho.
