i haven't stopped praying that God would intervene and the next report you would get is that he is perfectly fine. Its hard to believe that such a beautiful kitty would succumb to FIP. Hi Stacy, I watched this video when you first uploaded it, never knowing what F.I.P. was. I learned slowly through your journey with Pip. This past August I adopted my very first kitten with my boyfriend and we named her Queso. She was the most perfect cat I had ever met in my entire life. I loved every minute with her. I then began to notice bloating in her belly. Everyone told me she was just chunky, but I had this strange intuition that something was terribly wrong. I took her to the vet and they said the fluid inside was either caused by cancer, liver failure, or F.I.P. She tried explaining to me what that meant and I told her I had a friend who dealt with the same issue. I knew none of Queso's options were good. So last night, my boyfriend and I decided to put her to rest. I only knew her for a short period of time but she was my world. Now I am coming back to your videos to watch Pip and his success story. I thank you for sharing your experience with the world. I don't know how scary it would have been to go through this alone. I hope one day I have the opportunity to be as great of a cat mom as you. Here's a story to put you at ease: One time, my cat and I were at the vet, and she went missing. I FLIPPED OUT. I was like, "MOM!! MY CAT IS NOT HERE. HELP ME!!" Here's something you should know about the vet: the trash is in a cabinet with a hole. There was one place left to look: The trash. We looked and sure enough, my cat was there. She'd jumped through the hole and was hiding in the cabinet. We laughed SO HARD. XD. I hoped that helped. At least Pip doesn't hide XD.

Stacy, I honestly think you had a doctor give you a bad diagnosis before researching your kitten. It sounds like its not what it looks like and he really stretched his boundaries by telling you such a serious diagnosis without researching beforehand. I don't think Pip has FIP. My cat Snowbell had the eye gunk and belly fluid. It turned out that it was just extreme allergies. Please consider this!!

Pikachu Sun I don't think Stacy has a bad doctor, usually, FIP happens to cats 2 years or younger and Pip was showing symptoms of FIP, the doctor's most educated diagnosis was FIP though it was not completely confirmed. Some cats don't always have extreme allergies like yours. Please don't criticize the doctor when no allergy tests were taken to confirm.

Baby Unicorn I didn’t say the doctor was bad. I said i don’t agree with how he gave her a serious diagnosis like FIP before he had further researched PIP. I don’t agree with that. I know veterinarians know more than I do, but how would you like it if you went in for a pain in your side, diarrhea, and fatigue and after the appointment your doctor said you probably have kidney cancer without testing you at all? It just seems like he really reached out by giving such a serious diagnosis in such a short time. It emotionally strained Stacy way before she needed to been strained.

My first cat died of F.I.P when she was 6 months old. I was absolutely devastated. It was so sudden. In the afternoon she had trouble walking and I made an emergency appointment at the vet. He found out that she had F.I.P. I had to make a decision then and there whether I would want to be selfish and give her a few more days or let her go before she started suffering. By 6:30pm we had to put her down. I cried for a week straight. Everything happened so, so fast. Vicious illness.

Stale Milo well at the time that was the closest diagnosis but the symptoms have mostly disappeared now so you can't blame them. But I do agree that it's disturbing in the sense that Stacy could have chosen to put him down.

Stale Milo Some vets are truly disgusting like that. My cat Pixie had an incident last September/October and her vet at he time suggested putting her down as they didn't know what else to do. I was so angry and took her to another vet. She is now back to her old self, albeit with some mild kidney issues. I'll never go back to that vet and tell everyone how disgusting they are. But imagine if I was the kind of person to just listen to the vet? It gives me the shudders to think about it!!

I sure hope pip does not have FIP because I would hate to see him go so quickly. But when you pointed out that pip and fip rhymes I realized pip fip and rip rhyme and I hate that I just said that but I’m happy he is doing better! Not all hope is lost!!👍🏼 stay positive Stace
