I have a suggestion for a toy that Pip may like. My cat doesn't like normal cat toys, but for some odd reason she really enjoys pom-poms. You can buy a pack of 80 at the dollar store and it is TOTALLY worth it. My cat always plays with them, and she is pretty old. Since Pip is a kitten, he might like them a lot.

You won’t see this but you have given pip the best life he could ever have. I know what it feels to lose a pet, my dog Willow was too big for our yard and she was too energetic, we had to give her away and that was one of the saddest days of my life. Stacy I’m so sorry you’re going through all this :( I had a similar experience happen to me last year, except not with FIP. I got a sweet Siamese Snowshoe mix kitten who I named Everest for his love of heights. I got him from a lady who had found him abandoned. What I was unaware of when I got him was he had Feline leukemia virus or FeLV, to this day I do not know if the lady I got him from knew. She said he was perfectly healthy and had just been taken to the vet. How I found out he had this was well...not a good experience. I slowly introduced him to my other cats, Pippin, Lillian, Arthur and Simon. The five bonded like I didn’t expect, grooming him and loving him day and night. Suddenly I noticed Everest looked ill, my mom insisted it was a cold so I decided to watch him carefully. After a week I thought he was getting better until one morning..I woke up and Everest had passed away. I remember crying for hours or understanding why. We took his body to our vet to try and discover what happened, after awhile he told us Everest had had the Feline leukemia virus which weakened his immune system, leading him to get an infection and pass away. I was immediately worried about my others cats, who all had constant contact with him the past few weeks. The vet old me to keep an eye on them but he was confident they should be fine. He was wrong. Within a week after his passing I noticed Lillian and Simon seemed off, it was the weekend and then holiday on Monday so I had to wait for Tuesday. Those few days I watched my two babies get worse and I knew something was wrong. When I took them into my vet he said he needed to do tests on them but for now he’d give them antibiotics. I gave them the medicine dutifully but after a few weeks both Lillian and Simon passed away. I lost three parts of my heart in such a short time. It’s hard to get through and I know you’re sad right now but you can get through this. You’re giving Pip the best time of his life right now and when he passes away he will go happy and knowing how loved he was. ♥️

I had a cat with FIP. She wasn't diagnosed until after she passed. She lived happily for 6 months, then got fixed. The procedure stressed her out, which weakened her immune system. She passed about 1 1/2 weeks later. I wish you the best. I know first had how hard it is dealing with this, it's heart wrenching. I'm just so glad he has someone like you that is able to make his time on this Earth as wonderful as possible. Keep up the great work, you're the best

Stacy, if it makes you feel any better I cried too during this video. It probably doesn’t. You probably feel like nothing will make you feel better. I admire you so much for what your doing. Not many people would take the time, money, and effort to give Pip what your giving him. Your giving him life, a purpose, and that’s the best thing you could ever do for him. I know this must be devastating. He doesn’t seem sick so it’s hard for our brains to fathom that he actually has F.I.P. We are all here for you stacy. It’s ok to be upset. My dog is getting old now and tears come to my eyes everytime I even think about a time when I’ll have to live without him. Animals are beautiful blessings from God. Trust in the lord and know that no matter what so many people are here for you. I know I’m speaking for more than one person when I say we are deeply sorry. You are doing beyond what anyone else would have tried. You inspire me to be a better person because you are so selfless. Stacy, focus on all the happy memories with pip. Take pictures, videos, whatever you need to help you be assured he will always be remembered. If it comes to a time when you have to make a tough choice, know whatever you do we all support and pip would be eternally grateful for the little infinity you’ve given him. We all leave this earth one day, some sooner than others, but the way we remember them is what counts. It’s the way we treated them, the way we honor them. I believe there is life beyond earth. I believe in heaven. I believe when our time comes pip will be there, greeting each one of us with that adorable little look on his face. Know he will never be gone. I know he will always be with us, no mattter what. I wish you the best Stacy, and I can’t even express my sorrow and sympathy for you and pip. Just remember you did all you could and pip loves you for that. I will pray for a miracle and pray for a happy ending, but we both know that may not be possible. Just know pip knows how much you love him and loves you just the same. Animals can read humans and I have no doubt the way you talk to pip is how he deciphers love. Stacy I know you probably won't read this but if you do thank you SO much! You mean the world to me. I pray for you every single second of the day that somehow your kitten will survive this because I know how hard it is to loose a pet. Last year my dog died and he was there for me my hole entire childhood until last year. Stacy never feel like you are alone because I am sure that along with me many others will support you. You will probley not read this but you are such a wonderful parent to pip. You buy him expensive things because you care and love him so so much. you spent a lot of money on tests and you want to do everything to make sure that he has a good life. you want to try everything so you know that it may be possible for him to stay alive . My friends mom would put down her cat right away if it had a desies but you want to do everything you can to help. I do not remember much. I remember being brought in into a white room. Other cats were there. Days had passed. Multple 2 legs had looked at me. Some were nice, some were not. Until one day, a female 2 Leg looked at me. She held me, and said nice words. She brought me to the place where she stayed. Upon arrival, I smelled another cat, and a few other animals that I did not recognise. She held me in a room, a bit bigger than the one I previously stayed in. I liked her. Her voice soothed me. A week or so has passed, and she introduced me to the other cat. At first he was rough, but he decided that he liked me. And so did I. A few things were off, though. Whenever my human would visit me, she would call me "Pip". Is that my name? I'm not too sure. Another thing was that whenever she would come back, she'd have this weird thing in her hand and talk to it. It is quite peculiar. But that makes my human, my human. I do not feel well. She brought me to a place where they checked me. She's upset. I don't know why. She won't let me play with the other cat, either. I don't understand. I have been feeling worse. I understand now. Even though my life may be cut short, the human won't give up on me. She gave me medicines, and they make me feel better. Today she came in with toys, and furry things. The room I am in feels more nice now. Thank you, Human.

Hey Stacy, I don't know if you saw the comment on the last pip video about Mique goin to the vet.. but I'll post it again for you. I pasted the entire thing. It’s okay Stace. Trust me, I have a story about something like this, so here goes. Back when I was four, I became friends with my aunts new pup Carter. Me and him became best friends since I always played with him. (after saying that; god what did I do with my life back then😝 tryna lighten the mood here but) I only got to see Carter only a few times a year, because he lived with my grandparents. Then one day going there for Christmas, I noticed something. “Boy, Carter got a lot of hair cut off!” About a week later, my mom game to me while I was home alone with her. We were watching something about ghosts (I remember that day like it was yesterday) and she said “Carter didn’t get a haircut. He’s losing weight” “Losing weight??” “He has a serious heart disease, and he’s not gonna stay much longer” I was so upset. I cried for 5 minutes, but she comforted me telling me how stories about her old dogs. Then, 2 months later I think, I woke up on a Monday I think it was, or Sunday. I woke up like normal, I turned my alarm off five times before my dad actually got me up. But before he left my room, he said this: “Grandma wanted me to tell you that when they woke up, Carter had died in his sleep” I was so upset the entire day. I cried for another 5 minutes before actually going to school. I do remember the last time I saw him. He greeted me first like always, and we played a lot together. And before I left, I gave Carter a great big hug. So my advice for you is: Every night before you go to bed, give Pip a big hug. Show him that you love him. Show him that even if you’re worlds apart, he’ll always stay in your heart.
