I wonder if it’s because ppl who have knowledge of astrology tend to have a higher knowledge of self? That’s why I love astrology, helped me understand myself more. I can see how a non astrology lover may misclassify that as narcissism… but chile astrology isn’t always positive, there’s several placements in my chart I haven’t made peace with yet lol. But I’m glad I can identify it and work on it.

It's called Pathological Narcissistic Disorder. I heard it's been removed from the latest DSM, don't know if it's true. I had one of those as a neighbor for three years, drove me nuts, eventually had to file a restraining order against her. Didn't change her behavior. I didn't move because of her but it was a bonus to get away.

Taurus Sun here, the second Jupiter entered Taurus, I was stuck at 155-160 lbs, no matter how much I fasted, no matter how many workouts PER DAY I completed, no matter how much water and rest I got in between workouts and per night..yet, the second he fell asleep, my weight dropped to low 150's and I've been steadily racing down into the 140's..my Goal weight is 125 and I set it since April 2022, halfway there now but it's been a painful year and 4 months so far. Sorry but if it weren't for astrology I don't know how else to explain this. I mean..seriously...I have literal proof in my life that shows the astrology closely aligned with huge events in my life.

These ancient arts/ sciences are still a mystery to the “intellectual” who generally don’t believe in a higher power……or anything they’re unable to understand. Acupuncture for example has a high success rate for multiple body issues, but science can’t figure it out. Homeopathy as well is often debunked - but vaccines are based on homeopathic principles.

I really liked this video!! I personally have used my birth chart to look at both my strengths and flaws. When I listen to placement videos and I hear something that points out my shadow I have a little cringe moment and then try to work on why it triggered me. Though, what’s funny about that is I have also listened to videos with someone who has a certain placement, and when we hit the parts where I felt they should have a cringe moment it seemed to just run right through them like a sieve. Then at the the end they only heard the positive traits of their placement. I mean, whatever. Who am I to say? All I know is that overall it amazing to watch someone see themselves and learn who they are as a person. All in all it seems to work positively for the person at whatever level they are at in that moment.

This was fun. Thanks for the laughs. It always blows my mind how little people understand. Most of the people who enjoy Astrology are in it for personal understanding, self improvment, healing and honestly laughs (nothing like getting called out by your chart) Its a language to understand yourself, your career, your view of the world. It adds meaning and value. And people diagnosed with NPD probably aren't interested in any of that. Astrophysicist mathematician James McCanney (taught at Cornell for two years and saw first-hand how poorly educated astronomers are in both) says that when Mercury goes retrograde it loses its electrical connection with the sun. The physical body is an electric system. I'm a zero-degree Mercury-ruled Virgo and extremely sensitive to retrograde periods. When I went to Lowell Observatory in August (it was my first visit as well) when it was the full moon, I asked the guide how she felt about the full moon in Pisces and she shut me down immediately and said astrology is not a real science and they don't discuss it there and i felt very uncomfortable after that. Lol. It was super freaking cool seeing Saturn in the telescopes that night, it was closer to earth so it showed up very clear! I do think alot of people don't understand the depth of astrology and only go surface level. There is so much to learn, alot i have zero clue about still but would love to learn. It really sucks that you felt shut down, but it's important to keep in mind the other side of the equation. Tour guides have rules for what they can and cannot say on the job - plus if she knows nothing about astrology, she wouldn't have been able to answer your question even if she was allowed to. Also, for people who work in or adjacent to STEM fields, validating what is perceived by most as a pseudoscience (regardless of if it is or isn't) is not a good career move.

Hi Cam, its Pamela Richards. Loved this video, years ago I went to a Summer School in Oxford, UK organised by the Faculty of Astrological Studies and met an astrologer called Bernard Eccles (Bernard often contributed to the column written by the Late Jonathan Cainer). Bernard had recently lost his job with a woman's magazine called 'She' because he wrote some negative forecasts. The Magazine told him his readers don't want to read bad things in their 'Stars' even if it was true. We were all shocked - his colleagues confirmed that this did happen to him - God Help Us!

Most Christians don't know that the doctrine of reincarnation was part of the canon until the 6th C AD when it was removed by Emperor Justinian under pressure from the truly diabolical Theodora. (Asha Logos channel devoted a whole study to her). I learned about it from There Is A River, the bio of Edgar Cayce. It makes much better sense than the one-lifetime-then-heaven-or-hell version, merciful and just. Just takes longer to get back to the Creator than most think. And the group of Essenes that Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth were part of, studied astrology and numerology.

Also, the Essenes were a mystery cult; Helena Blavatsky talked about them and Jesus' involvement with them, but Blavatsky is probably one of the worst sources of truth that there could be in regard to Christianity because she was an occultist, founder of the Theosophical Society, and worshipped Lucifer. I'm not trying to stop anyone from studying astrology, and I'm not hating on Cam. I even got a reading from him as recently as a year and a half ago, but for years and years I was an actual Satanist, studied the occult, did magic (successfully) etc., and personally I am genuinely starting to believe, coming to my own conclusions, that Christianity and Jesus is the only truth and foundation we can consistently rely on. I don't think there are loopholes for a lot of new-age practices... No disrespect to anybody here, just some food for thought and maybe even a warning.

Let's be honest here; people who follow astrology may start out with a lot of narcissism when they first discover it, but those who take it seriously use it as a form of faith, guidance, personal development and a way of understanding the world around us. The fact that they didn't use astrology to test astrology already makes this study invalid. Sun signs do not capture the depth of astrology. As complex as astrology is yet they took shortcuts on measuring it, lack of effort in choosing participants, and the overall laziness in learning astrology's history-- it's shocking as to how they even got funded to do this. The study is not legitimate because you need to have a planned study with factors that can be replicated precisely. You need multiple studies to prove something true. A random sample is not carefully planned to include all types of people, to make a “fair” conclusion. A “randomized” sample from social media would not include enough diversity to even be taken seriously. I love how they try to use (weak) science to prove anything about astrology, that’s a first.

Btw, if science treated reality like the legal system we would be better off, seeing as how science constantly proves itself wrong anyways. The legal system assumes the presumption of innocence before being proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. You can’t say astrology isn’t real without proving it wrong beyond a reasonable doubt. Science is absolutely biased, insofar as the scientific community are judgmental in only studying certain areas… and creating elegant studies that are crafted to prove their hypotheses significant. If they don’t get significance, they redesign the studies until they do. You’re right, we need advocates that are realistic.

So I'm someone who plans on going into the psychology feild and heavily believes in science But I also practice witchcraft and believe in astrology Yes there hasn't been any like definitive studies on astrology that proves if it is or isn't a science. Personally, I hope that all narcissists are attracted to astrology for whatever the reason, and actually take a deep dive because the principles of astrology eventually lead to spiritual theology and the idea of bliss and enlightenment through shadow work. Whatever the case, astrology always leads back to ourselves as individuals. And if narcissists are going that route then hallelujah because it'll keep leading back to themselves to we're hopefully they'll be able to look in the mirror. That's how perception shifts happen. The “sample” in itself makes this study invalid. I can point out so many flaws that it’s actually amusing to think anyone could possibly believe it’s validity let alone it’s actual results. And yes… I have my moments of narcissism but I have many more moments of selfless “codependent” and “enabling” behavior for the many narcissists in my personal and career life that don’t believe in astrology. 😂😂😂
