This lesson is very important. As an astrologer with a "difficult chart" I'm trying to see astrology as.. It's not the rain thats the problem, but knowing when the rain's coming, you'll to have an umbrella handy. It's like the weather. It just highlights strengths and weaknesses you can work with to improve.

Ah great video! I hate it when people give up power and responsibilities. Astrology is a tool for understanding and personal growth. More often I'll use it for reflection AFTER I have moved through something and use it to help me learn what I need to.

Absolutely. I first had my chart done 45 years ago and it has some big pitfalls. BUT my friend who completed it looked at the parts of the chart which can assist me with the challenges and enabled me to work through them more easily. For example my relationship with my mother is awful and there is no obvious way to resolve it. I learned this from my chart but I also learned that short term fixes can be put in place. They wont last but they help in the short term. 45 years later my 95 year old mother is still cantankerous and manipulative but I cope so much better because I understand our relationship and I have stratergies for mitigating the worst effects. It has made my life better and that is down to astrology. Get your birth chart looked at or work through it knowing that astrology doesn't take the challenges away. Astrology shows you who you are and gives you ways to navigate life (which is always full of ups and downs) better and more effectively. I am SO glad that my friend chose me as the other person's chart she would look at on her astrology course .

You're exactly right. Our realities and our interpretations of them are filtered through belief. Each of our behaviors are dictated by deeply rooted paradigms of beliefs. Our realities are confirmation bias in that way. To view everything as fully good or bad is a reality that lacks nuance. To practice gratitude and to be grateful isn't supposed to serve the function of everything is sunshine and rainbows, but moreso give us a balanced perspective. Yes, there are challenges and obstacles, but when you recognize the world exists in a pair of opposites exisiting in unity, one can't exist without the other- your reality becomes more nuanced and objective. Takes knowing about a problem in order to solve it. If you live in ignorance and aren't aware, how are you supposed to identify the issue to know the proper actions to solve or mitigate the pain. Thank you for weaving the tough-love advice and wisdom in these videos, continue doing you, Cam (as corny as that sounds)

The part about enjoying life, having fun with it. That’s been a huge theme for me. I entered motherhood as I hit my Saturn return. How fun lol. Now Saturn is rx in my 1st house while Venus is rx in my Leo 6th house. Bottom line, I’m being reminded to enjoy the little things and moments with my children. Thank you, brilliant video - I have found that many of my friends fear their Saturn Return, but if a person is prepared to put in the work, the results can support them for the next 30 years. At my last Saturn Return I bought an old cottage, renovated it and rented it on AirBnB. The property value made me over £100k (UK Pounds) when I sold it, and because it was a business, instead of paying up to 60% Capital Gains Tax, I paid 10% Entrepreneurs Tax - sweet!

This is all very true to look at my chart I have 2 grand trines, 1 forms a kite and a Yod, so mainly things come very easy to me with little to no effort however that is not to say life hasn’t knocked me on my ass SEVERAL TIMES and it’s when I use those abilities to get me thru (free will) to succeed in all life’s ways

Like you Cam, I have Sag rising with Jupiter in fall in Capricorn.. I'm 61 and have been trying to learn traditional astrology.. I'm still trying to figure out how to live with a fallen chart lord.. it's fucking hard. Sun conjunct South Node in the 1st house, Saturn in the 2nd square Pluto in the 5th, Born during eclipse season, Neptune conjunct Descendant, Venus in the 12th house, Saturn in Cancer in a night chart and in the 2nd. Pluto, Saturn, Mercury all in phasis. I AM CURSED!! I climbed a mountain and at 35 I slipped down it and it has been a downward spiral for 15 years regardless of what I do. I came to astrology to determine why my once comfortable life became a horror film.

If someone's saturn opposes your venus, you will definitely suffer a loss from their cruelty. If someone's venus is conjunct your sun, they get you what you want. So, no, some aspects are good, some bad

You can know the general placements of your chart without the exact time, but the houses would be the thing not to focus on (and not the ascendant). But you may also look into rectifying your chart.

I don’t struggle much with my birth chart, my problem is more that I get anxious when I see difficult transits coming up (like, soon I‘ll have transit Saturn square my natal Jupiter and natal Neptune again, same as in spring this year), and knowing how those transits felt for me. I‘m not a happy bunny 🫣 this is what I deal with most, not so much the birth chart
