Relocating is great if it works in your particular situation. I'm pretty much at a super low tax bracket, I pay $250 for a brand new 3 bedroom apartment near a Subway station, etc. It's amazing how low tax means I can work less and make the same amount of after tax

I know currently in the US with the section 179 accelerated depreciation clause available, turning earned income on a schedule C into a deduction for more mining rigs makes a lot of sense today to reduce or eliminate taxes for Americans living in the US until such time as the earnings from mining operations are so valuable that turning them into a Foreign Earned Income deduction from a UAE free zone company makes more sense, after which point any money in excess of the FEIE, the standard deductions, any per diems for travel taken out of the free zone company on Form 5741 in addition to more 179 deductions for the CFC make sense, while saving for an economic citizenship prior to renouncing. At least that would be my take today.

All of these CBI programmes are normally in USD but for people who don't live in the US $150,000+ is a small fortune. Therefore most seek residency programs. Also foreign exchange conversion is severely crippling for some.

I am also looking for a country or island where I do not have to pay VAT on the boat. Would love to hear which countries you have in mind.

Hi Michael! Appreciate the video. I myself want to set up an little offshore company to do stock trading, could you give me a piece of advice as to jurisdiction and brokerage service? I like how most of the zones pay no tax on trading benefits but I am afraid big brokers may refuse services to an offshore company. Perhaps a bank with a built-in platform would do? If I own a professional company, does offshore company make sense as I have to be working in my country (Canada) and there aint any magic way to employ someone from outside the country (Since Im selling my services, I cant really take a branding or anything else offshore IMHO).
