I test out the AVMATRIX UC1218 HDMI capture device with YUY2 uncompressed 1080p 60fps output connected to the Canon M6ii, Sony A6000, and Nikon Z5. I compare it to a generic HDMI USB capture device I had on-hand. Is there any difference in output? The most interesting test is probably when I compare the UC1218 to the internal Nikon Z5 recording. Let's find out if a device like this is worth the cost.

I received this device at no cost, but AVMATRIX had no say in the content of this video. I'm not receiving much benefit from keeping the device given how much time and effort it takes to produce a video along with income tax on the retail value.
