I’m probably one of the most depressed people out here have been for years can’t seem to dig my self out of this hole but I always feel like it all goes away when I’m on my motorcycle. I ride Honda shadow 750 an it’s all I need I don’t need to go fast to enjoy my bike. I feel like when I’m not riding tho sometimes my depression is actually worse because it just adds another reason I’m sad I have a 8 year old son an he brings me the most joy so I think motorcycles are great but I stay here on earth for my son.

I whole heartedly agree with you man, it's called 2 wheeled therapy for a reason.... I love the feeling when I'm on a bike.... sadly I've been out of work since the 18th because of an accident and my shadow was totaled but I can't wait to get back on 2 wheels again soon. Love your videos keep up the great job man.

Being a passenger on a bike the day of my mom’s terminal cancer diagnosis was the escape I needed. Being able to let it all go and just feel the wind. The summer after her passing, riding down that same road, the sun shone so brightly. It was like a release. They don’t call it wind therapy for nothing.

Been riding since 2014 and for me? It does help, bikes are just different from riding in a cage daily. I recently put my bike away for the winter and the months till spring can't come soon enough because I already miss my bike. When you ride a bike is like you forget about your problems, it's a weird great feeling that most are not fortunate enough to enjoy. Ride safe brody, you got this.

Riding for fun, riding for filming, riding for a break. Every ride is different but it's always there. Well said and thank you for sharing your story. No doubt it is helping and will continue to help those that stumble upon this channel.

I've been diagnosed with depression for a few years now and basically the only things that really have made me feel at ease is motorbiking and drugs (of course never combined). And let's be honest motorbiking is the better option of those two. It's just nice to be alone and in your own little bubble but whilst still being outside and getting around.

Good stuff that you address this global problem of mental health. As a mental health peer advisor for 11 years I can confirm any way you enjoy adventure, solitude, mateship, escapism, camping is better than lying in bed. But also there's little point forcing these activities, better to wait till your depression is moving out of its cycle, the the timing is best to ride. As for anxiety it took me 22 years to cure myself from that. Relaxation, financially stress free, rid my life of toxic people and listen to "prem rawat maharaji " videos. And don't underestimate good sleep. Sleep apnoea can rob you of that and shorten our lifespan. :)

I’ve noticed how much better I feel when I ride. I have a beautiful 2012 HD Dyna Wide Glide and she is the best thing that has come into my life in a LONG time! Keep on riding and that is for sharing this video.

When I ride my focus is on riding, I did suffer from mild stress related depression and getting on the bike took me out of my mind and gave a little bit of respite. It works in that it gives you a break from your problems ...

Riding definitely helps me mentally. I live in Colorado so riding up to the mountains is my favorite thing to do. Every time I ride I see the beauty of creation and I always get the sense that “everything is going to be ok”

My theory is that when you're moving at speed youre breathing in more oxygen, like a ram air lol. The extra oxygen makes us feel good.
@WatanabeNoTsuna.2 ай бұрын
Conversely, a closed helmet can increase CO2 levels in the air you breathe in. That can cause imperceptible drowsiness and an increased risk of accidents. So, guys, keep your vents or visor open whenever possible, especially during and after small stops. 👍

I really enjoy it, I've got a KLR650. I love the bike but I should've bought used first. Gonna have to trade it in for something better in the back roads because a 480lb pig does not do full offroad very well. Though I do love my pig. I've got the three horsemen of go fuck yourself. Anxiety, depression and adhd. Helps me focus, helps me feel less anxious and depressed, helps my brain shut up for a bit. I unironically said WEEEE as a 31 year old. Shit is just fun, and I love it.

Biking helps with my depression, but sometimes it worsens my anxiety. Sometimes I fixate on some weird noise the bike seems to be making, other times when I'm in remote areas that I'm Not familiar with I worry that I might not find a fuel station, I might feel bad that I'm wasting fuel for no reason (both for money and also environmental reasons), and especially wondering why I'm not a better rider... Basically, I'm really fucked up in the head...
@Synthwave89Ай бұрын
Seems like some kind of obsessive compulsive disorder or some kind or intrusive thoughts. A bike is not gonna fix that, see a therapist my friend. Thoughts like that are laying waste to what should be a small break from the hecticness off life

I started watching your videos before I made the decision to purchase a Honda Fury, you & one other guy (who did his own personal review on the Fury) on KZbin. The Honda Fury has cheered me up some, even though the older I get the grumpier I get but what always cheers me up is my English Mastiff , French Bulldog & my Honda Fury. I was having some anxiety for a bit but unfortunately all medical 🏥 professionals want to do is give medication 💊 which I personally don’t like, too many side effects. I consulted using Artificial Intelligence & it helped a lot , I used to have coffee ☕️ daily but then I changed it to just work nights not on days off. I bought the Honda Fury & sometimes it’s hard for riding time unfortunately due to work hours & changing schedule it was difficult to get efficient sleep 😴 time , plus time for daily chores/house work, take care of pets, etc, etc.. But what really cheers me up is adding mods to my Fury , I love it a lot! After work tonight I’ll take my Fury out for a peaceful night ride & enjoy the cool Fall weather. After the ride I am so happy, feel good, no anxiety or grumpiness. I personally think 🤔 a motorcycle does help , whether it’s riding , adding Mods, cleaning 🧽 it like a Show Bike , etc. . I eventually plan on buying another motorcycle, I want 2 & plan to Mod both. I plan on take my Fury to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, Custer State Park & Devils Tower & Mirror Lake Wyoming someday! Thank you 🙏 for the videos!
