Does Sonic Heroes Deserve A Remake...?

In recent sonic the hedgehog news there are leaks and rumors swirling saying we will be getting a sonic heroes remake in the near future in the video I discuss the community's reaction and impressions with the leaks and express how many sonic fans seem upset or let down sonic heroes was picked for a remake over various other sonic games that are well deserving I also express my opinions on the matter and give my thoughts on sonic heroes getting a remake! I remember in heroes enemies had health and characters had multiple different attacks. A remake could have the combat from frontiers for each character, but enhanced to account for team attacks.

BUT, i feel like they did the right choice, this is the defining thing that will decide whether Sonic Team is capable enough to remake their classics or not. hoping for it to be true, the controls from what i remember were pretty janky, and the graphics could use a sleek overhaul, keep the colorful style of the game and we're golden!

A remake is from the ground up. A remake doesn’t use old assets aside from maybe the music.

Sonic Adventure 1 deserves a remake more. Same with Sonic and the black knight and Sonic Unleashed. Before the SA1 remake they need to remake multiple Sonic games. They should make SA3 before remaking SA1.

I'm indifferent to it. it's definitely without a doubt the SAFEST bet to do. I just hope this will push them to make NEW games. Branch out and make new side games focused ENTIRELY on other characters where sonic has little to NO PLACE at all. I want to see a Digimon Cybersleuth type of game for the chaotix. A game for blaze that takes place in the SOL dimension. a game for Silver that takes place in the future that takes place after the events of 06. there are countless possibilities that they can do if they went with heroes. and have those side games become actual branches that they would EXPAND upon and not just have them be stupid one off games. because that is what the series need the most right now. bring back variety with those brand new games. come up with a brand new gameplay style and keep those styles exclusive to those games.

I have no problem, that Heroes get´s a remake. I´m a fan from the very first day of the Mega Drive time. BTW: Sonic Generations also get´s a Remake this year and the community seams to be crazy about it.

If any of those 5 games deserved a remake,it's sonic 06 Think about it,adventure 2 already has a massive success and if Sega messes it up it just won't be the same anymore.Sonic unleashed doesn't need one and adventure 1 is like adventure 2.Sonic 06 was rushed as heck and they have a chance to fix it up and in my opinion if it wasn't rushed it could have been the best sonic game of all times.

Sonic Heroes deserves more than a simple remake/remaster. This is one of the FLAWED games that need to reimagined, a rewrite, *changed* . All four campaigns feel redundant, and two of them boil down to demographic pandering (Team Rose) and shallow fan service (Team Chaotix) respectively. Even the motivations to form each team make no sense. Not to mentioned that there are several creative possibilities for several unutilized concepts, as well as better unlockables. Super Hard Mode is just insulting, and for a game set after SA2 (and during the grand "year of Sonic"), that's just sad.

@@AltKaxREAL Bringing back the Chaotix, but reconning them, and divorcing them of any ties they had with Knuckles (and Mighty). In fact, Big the Cat was also brought back, and Omega isn't fooling anyone with his similar design scheme to Gamma.

TBH I think Sega-ATLUS should remaster Sonic Unleashed with an Episode Knuckles (I.E Sonic Unleashed and Knuckles) to give the Hedgehog Engine a send off then remake Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2 in a compilation using Unreal Engine 5, dialogue written by Ian Flynn and Evan Stanley to match the Japanese dialogue with Roger Craig Smith, Mike Pollock and the rest of the current cast doing lines for the remake. Sonic Heroes getting a remaster or remake IMO is a bad move, in 2021 Rockstar games remastered Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas under Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: "Definitive Edition" using Unreal Engine and that remaster is worse than Sonic Colors Ultimate, the PS2 GTA games used Renderware (the same engine that Sonic Heroes) used and did a poor job porting the games source code Renderware to Unreal. Sonic Heroes is mediocre but remastering will make the game worse IMO. I think Sega-ATLUS needs to get accustom to Unreal after Sonic Unleashed remaster (as I think that the Hedgehog Engine will be discontinued) and remake Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2 using Unreal and have the Sonic Adventure 1&2 remakes tie in with a possible Sonic Movie 5.

The controls of heroes aren’t that good, you have to essentially have to beat the same levels 4 times to beat it but, Sonic Heroes makes up for it with its PERSONALITY!!!

Yknow, if there is gonna be a remake, Sega might as well go all in with the Year of Shadow stuff and remake Shadow '05, which is pretty much the only game out of the 2000's games that people haven't really tried to fix.

It’s a bit to early for a sonic 06 remake, they should make more remakes of older games to hype it up then do it. But in all realness though a sonic 06 remake would never see the light of day probably because of how bad the game was

06 needs a Remake, not a remaster. They need to remove the whole Sonic and Elise romantic relationship to gain my trust again. Unleashed though? Absolutely Yes.
