The gameplay for Sonic X Shadow Generations looks so very impressive, even with it's gameplay reminiscing one of the modern Sonic games like Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Colors. I really hope it contains a remaining lives system and I really it gets critically acclaimed, even with Black Doom and Mephiles the Dark returning. It's even nice to see Shadow the Hedgehog having his own game again, like with Shadow the Hedgehog the game from 2005.

I am out of the loop when it comes to sonic games Is this a new game or a remastered version for a previously released game ? Is everything made from the ground up or it’s just old stuff with little new stuff to justify the price ?

There's been some speculation that Sonic Movie 3 will involve some form of time travel (explaining how an already elderly Gerald Robotnik is still alive 50 years later) and because of this, and the crossover DLC, what if something involving this game is actually directly tied to the movie? Like, what if the Time Eater created a hole in time & space, allowing Gerald & Shadow to travel 50 years into the future? Or what if they're trying to use its power to go back in time and save Maria? Maybe Eggman teams up with not only his classic self, but also his movie self? I feel there's a lot of room for many possibilities, but I'm really curious to find out more.

Everything I've seen is incredibly hype, I love everything they have done. But the fact remains, I have to have some shred of dignity when they rip like a $4 product off of the existing market to repackage it with slight patches and 2-4hrs of added content for $60. Do I wanna scream take my money? Woo boy yeah. Am I going to skip and wait a few years for this to drop to $10? Absolutely. Currently the added content is probably as long as most fan games that come out for Free.

Open world Silver game where we get to travel between his future world and present day mobius doing quests in both thhat effect the future. Plus lots of side quests and side missions for side characters and a blaze story line to. Least thats what id like 😅

I'm not kidding Sonic 06 at least had an awesome story when it came to characters like the dynamic seemed to work well between them. Some parts could have been left out maybe but overall i think, as so many others already said, this game could have been so awesome if it wouldn't have been screwed up so hard.

I figured Mephiles the dark being back was due to the time eater theory. And he is trying to make Shadow remember him to escape his paradox death. That way when shadow remembers him he can come back due to (insert reason). Either way... Like Black Doom he was an interesting concept stuck in a not that great game.

Maybe shadow tells Gerald about the events that passed like the assault on the space colony ark and the death of Maria, and Gerald becomes sour about it and kinda falls into evil territories, trying to prevent Maria's death.

If shadow is more resistant to chaos powers then why was he the only one to feel all the reprocussions of using chaos control after stopping the ark and the prototype ultimate lifeform
