I haven’t had people that understand or even see me since my childhood days with my best friend. The fruit of all that solitude over the years was that I learned to enjoy my own company, still there is a lot you learn together with other people and I find that part of me is way less mature (confidence in social settings, awareness, flirting etc) but honestly sometimes grace takes over and I become naturally social, relaxed and flirty, perhaps all roads lead home, perhaps I developed a hand full of complexes, perhaps both. Idk, all I know is I am happy there is a community just as weird as I am ☀️

Mankind are masters of limitation. I get the same feeling of regret ear bashing people, but I think it's also just a sense of disappointment and disconnection. Look up the allegory of Plato's Cave if you don't know about it. Once you get a taste of the light there's a desperation to get others on board. It's exciting to talk about, truly. But if someones isn't ready to hear the information it creates this sort of negative feedback loop because we try and force it to relieve our own suffering. It's better to embody what you know than try to explain it. If you have to over explain it, it means you don't believe it yourself (at some level), because it is inherently paradoxical. Impossible to describe with language even though we try. Making art is another way we try. That's why yash sometimes just throws his hands up in his videos and says "Ah well the people who get it, get it, I'm talking to them" lol It's a practice for sure, but if you can find people on the same page as you it can be extremely enriching, which is why we're drawn here.

The old flip it and reverse it maneuver, "-get ur eyes off me" It's like a rubber band snapping back at you! I remember trying to face some conflict with my mom and I'd say when you do this it makes me feel... She did this "classic" when you do this it makes me feel like... mirroring it right back to me 😑 Which is like sticky, fixed, immutable. It stops you dead in your tracks. You know you aren't going to get any traction. You're not going to get stuff moving. There's nothing to grip onto, no foot hold. Which is, what it is. It's a humbling experience We all have limitations. And our limitations make themselves known. But it is similar to gaslighting n a sense What is this mirroring 💔 ...are we saying we wld rather something else, objecting to or rejecting what is? Mirror, mirror can we, or do we really see ourselves? Our eyes naturally flip and reverse images and, our beliefs color what we see accordingly If someone thinks it's fun to question me and waste time asking why I do, xyz 🥱 like do they really care they say yes but do they? Or it's just chatter being expelled. It's uncomfortable to question why like some will get defensive, feeling some need to explain themselves? Fuk that. To what end? We are not meeting and moving forward It is meeting and stepping backwards possible tripping and falling back into a ravine and left for dead.

@@herethere5637 it's the idea of gnosis or "direct experience". It's not that any of them are trying to hold back secret information. Any 'guru' worth their weight is attempting to get people to try and discover what they've learned for themselves. Life is like one of those magic eye pictures. The student looks at it and says "I don't see anything", the guru says "Try squinting" and after some effort it kind of just comes into focus and the student says "WOW! I saw it! That was amazing, but it's not there anymore?" so they try the squinting approach again. After enough effort it comes back into focus but this time its a completely different picture. The student says to the guru "woah, I saw it again but it was different this time. What do you make of this?" and the guru says "I have no idea. I was hoping you could tell me. I'm just happy you saw something too." Some people never try squinting which is spiritual practice, so they never see the magic, but even when you see it you can't explain it. It's like the Universe is shuffling a infinite deck of cards. It becomes humbling after awhile. You can come up with a billion different analogies. It's God playing peekaboo with himself at the end of the day.

Detachment. This is why I stay ISO. I only know all or nothing. I've made the silly mistake of giving my all to things/people and got nothing. Now that I stand alone, it's nothing there while I give my all in searching for "myself." Their are no words to describe the feeling when you've hit the wall of existing. Or am I? Am I real? Usually satisfying or at least the not unsatisfactory ones are interactions where one channels high vibrational energy which can be divinity, anonymously healing consciousness overall or the energetically humorous interactions which are very satisfying. It's useful to remember that a spiritual life is usually not a choice but great earned fortune. Most spiritual people have no idea the hells low levels of consciousness experience because it usually becomes incrementaly difficult to relate to the world as one makes spiritual progress. It seems to me that long periods of isolation and lack of interest in the world are natural and come and go, the material enegies and their expressions are confusing if you see them as permanent.

You can learn from talking to everyone. You glean from conversations what you focus on. If you have negative thoughts and a defensive attitude … you’ve just missed an opportunity to learn. Self focused negativity will drain, or will steal, your energy - not other people.

Yash, I remember the very moment when I discovered the notion of spirituality and God. Once I asked myself a question that genuinely bothered me: " How do I process the loss of my parents when it happens? I know it will break me, because I realise I am weak. Where do I find solace?" And after that I was bombarded with videos on meditation, reincarnation and spirituality. This subject matter came up in conversations with other people as though accidentally. You're right, life goes on with its hardships but we all need God to turn to when it hurts too much.

I've heard countless tales with people exaggerating victories and downplaying losses. It all feels draining, with characters and narratives going downhill. Stuck in the hostel due to a storm that hit months ago, I hadn't been in one for a decade. As the storm raged for hours, I couldn't believe I used to endure this a decade ago. It's maddening-I'd rather be shot dead than endure more meaningless chatter.

I get it man. I'm really not that interested in dialog. Sometimes it's fun just bantering with people and making jokes but most times I'm doing mostly observation in conversations. I feel a little aloof most the time. It's been like this for a long time. It's a paradox cause to an extent we need other people. I'm just not really super interested in humany things

I’m a pretty standard introvert: I’d rather have an intimate conversation with someone about something of substance than go to a party and have small talk and one-liners with a dozen people. I hate small talk. Being around people drains me. Oddly enough, I’m a salesman and a good one. Thankfully, it’s in an industry that relies on repeat business, so I’m able to get somewhat beyond the surface with some customers. Even so, my personality is very opposed to that line of work. Could be that I’m being given this particular “floor to sweep” because that’s the work that my fundamental self needs. As time goes on, I’m coming to believe more and more that everything is absolutely perfect and the only reason I see it as imperfect is because I can’t see the whole picture (or don’t have all of the information, if you like).

What i found is that the more i grow the more detached i am from spirituality like i don't want to consider myself as spiritual I've been in pain for so long and basically have tried everything learned everything so i just ended up saying that nothing will make me happy in this reality no amount of knowledge will help no point of view no section of the spiritual community is helping and it's all so confusing and i don't know where to go from here it's like i wonder how does everyone seem to know what they're saying and know what their doing when I'm here confused by the fact that they're all saying different things but it seems connected at the same time and I'm frustrated cause all i want to do is realise myself but i can't relate like I understand what your pointing to but have never experienced it or i did and thought nothing of it like being awake but asleep to the fact that your awake of its possible

this state you’re in is higher than the spiritual communities full of people imagining they know what their saying and doing (your state is the next level). This is how organic spirituality will be born. Because u realize you cant do anything “to get it”. Maybe come to our satsang on Sunday if you feel to and bring that up. Very calmly, with steady breaths, gaze into a mirror closely and steadily. Very calmly,, inwardly repeat "I am", then try "I am calm" and/or "calm I am". The fact that you, we all, simply but amazingly Are, that we exist and are conscious, is super-amazing. What a creation (us, and the "world"--an eternal movie), it and us are mind-boggling concepts, surely you must agree!!!!! :) !! Dwell on this deeply, see what you think, would love to hear if helpful. Much love to you, "I" feel what you are challenged by. All will improve, perhaps with stunning speed.... The above to me is very effective, this approach occurred to me organically (by grace).

@@kevinvassar7433 thank you it's just that for me I feel like this thing of looking for something is weird because what if the thing I'm looking for is already me and I'm just imagining the idea of waking up to who I am right now I don't feel I need to awaken to anything I don't need to do anything it's like we are the thing we are looking for , that sense of self that's looking for itself
