​@@Theman26642 m3 e92/e93 is not slow but its heavy even e46 m3 is slower but is faster on track. But you buy it for the driving experience and on the road where losing 0.1sec or 0.2sec on every turn wont metter compared to lighter car. e93/e92 is perfect price/performance for backroads. The only car you can compare the m3 92/93 is lexus lc500 but that car is 3times the price of the m3

As an e93 owner who test drove both the e92 and e93 prior to purchase, I fell in love with the convertible experience. Glad you liked it...I still plan on owning an e92 for a more hardcore experience later in life. Excellent review as always.

My test drive of the e93 was actually renting one off of Turo for a week and driving it on the PCH, the Santa Monica canyons, and taking a trip from Santa Barbara to San Diego and back, mostly with the top down 😀. Beautiful car man, enjoy it! Mines an '11.5 Jerez black, with black interior.

I have a 2008 e93. Top up engine sound mean. Top down it sounds downright vicious. I test drove a 2018 m4 CS and it didn't thrill me.

did you notice that this wasn't in M mode. None of the M mode lights were on the dash, which means at best it was in power mode, not power plus with MDM mode active. You missed out. There was so much more just beyond.....

Power mode does not change the power of the car. It changes the throttle sensitivity. MDM mode is a combination of traction and stability control (which uses the rear brakes to allow some slip angle), but this was a subscriber's car so I was not going to abuse it by driving it sideways.

I own one and you have no idea what you're talking about! You only get power plus mode in the M mode. Sean John; it changes the game! ramp up the gear change and go to M mode. Make sure the computer is set to engage Power Plus mode when you press the button or you will just get what's set. Let it rev if you're in flappy paddle mode and it will impress!! Don't go for short bursts as you won't get the best. Floor it and stay with it as long as you can :)

Mine was at the dealer for 173 days before I bought it but it had the air bags replaced.. and this is an $83K with all the options.. not everyone can afford that..

I wanted white with black or back on black when I found the black with red my wife and I were not that happy. But the red kinda wears on you. I love it now. I also didn't want a M3 with 80k miles mine had 24k almost new and it was very clean. I also got a warranty too.

they are still depreciating...but the cheapest e92's in reasonable shape and high miles still trade at or above $20k ish. I'd imagine decent cars will trade for 28-34k for a while.

Portugal98 you have to stop thinking of value over personal enjoyment. Modem cars minus a small fee are not collectible. Just buy it and drive the wheels off. I put 80k on myE92 M and love it more everyday. I want to have the cleanest high mile S65 anywhere. It's a great car but you have to drive it often. Very reliable considering what it does.

SEAN JOHN 92663 well it's a shame you bought the most unsought after e9x M3. 500lbs heavier, ugly chrome trim. The prices of these drop like flies. No one ever wants a vert M3. Just look at e36, and e46 M3 prices. M3s are for hitting the apex hard not be relaxed and cruised in like a bunch of yentas. They should eliminate this poor handling M3 model.
