This video feels like it was edited to appeal to a toddler's attention span

Agreed lmao it's kind of wonky and hurts my fkn brain

Fretboard wankers are quite similar. Essentially overgrown toddlers seeking instant gratification of soloing without regard for its musicality.

The technology and features in this amp, it's way more than most guitarists will ever need and could ever want. I find the direct recording/direct to FOH MSDI feature to be most intriguing. Stuff like this is extremely forward thinking and keeps amplifiers relevant and able to compete in the modeler/profiler driven market currently.i absolutely have to get one of these. I see a lot of people hating on the Invective, but i personally love them. Like anything it just takes patience and experience to get what you want from it. It's actually an extremely practical, versatile, and feature rich amp.

I have 160 watt Roadmaster. 120 watt ultra. 120 watt original rockmaster head (not the preamp) .. a couple bandits. A couple envoys. Two different Peavey 212s... And four different peavey cabs... However... my body can't get over this feeling that I will die if I don't get the invective combo

That sounds like a great collection, the invective.112 would be a nice addition. This one is a good take-anywhere amp or practice without ensuring complaints from the neighbors, at least if you click over to the 1-watt setting. 😉

Why are we playing EVH styled riffs/licks when showcasing a Misha Mansoor amp????
@christophermichael50813 ай бұрын
One would think it would be to show the versatility of the amp since there are many one trick ponies.
@mikedonovan54073 ай бұрын
@@christophermichael5081 this is fair but they could’ve at least showcased some Misha styled tones as well, not just classic and 80s rock
@bradatherton93693 ай бұрын
Probably because the DNA of the Invective series is rooted in the 5150 and 6505.

Sounds a lot like a Peavey - for better or worse. The direct out sounds a bit more natural and less nasally. But that could also be because this demo is only running in the 1 watt mode. Would rather like to hear it at full tilt.

Looks lighter than the 86lb beast the 6505+ combo was.

It is pretty compact and not heavy at all.

Sounds like an ok tube amp with a bunch of digital compression options. Meh.

Good review BUT .... When showing or demo\ing the tonal options , playing 90mph hundreds of notes takes away from the sound & tonal clearity imo. .Id say keep it simple & let the amp shine instead of trying to outshine it.

Well said. Couldn't agree more

not a fan of the EVH shred style here. not a great way to demo any amp

Sounded like another crappy Bandit 1x12 to me
@getpeaveymacedАй бұрын
Hey man don't knock the Bandit, they are great amps for the incredible low price you can get them for.

Peaveys are like the ak47s of guitar amps. Louder and more vicious than 5.56 ar10 bs people pay for. Ar15s are the overpriced junk and ak47 can mop the floor with them Whatever brand you playing sounds weak I guarantee

So peavy stops making the 6505+ combo in order to price gouge us into buying another combo for more twice as much and doesn’t sound half as good. Well done.
