I worked as did my mum. I was potty trained, day and night at age 2, as were my daughters.

I’m 40 and I remember kids wetting themselves in primary school. This is nothing new!

Unless your child has disabilities there are no excuses. Parents are lazy. End of.

Im confused if parents are not 100% responsible for teaching this exactly who is responsible? I understand perhaps once parents initiate training that you then would discuss it with whatever childcare options you have,to continue to support the child with training but its still the parents responsibility to do the work. Of course every child is different but leaving training until they are almost going to school seems very late indeed. Times really have changed a lot.

Toilet buddy - really! How much time will then be spent in there messing around with water etc. Sorry teachers/parents need to teach independence, go to the toilet on your own, flush, wash hands, come out. Simple!

It's not up to the teachers to potty train the children. can't use the excuse of parents working and not have the time, covid etc. Parents are just lazy and stupid. I agree that if you can't parent , don't have kids.

Lazy parenting my boys were trained under 2 so proud of them was hard work but worth it . Blame Covid is she for real

So much pressure on parents to potty train their kids. My kids would piss themselves in school, come home in different pants, Happened maybe every two months until they were about 5 years old. Never happened after that. It's not a big deal. It's not worth talking about. Working parents have enough to worry about.
