Good slappers dawg. I remember the precon deck from wway back when, that Plaguelord had a bunch of smaller friends too, good times.

I love it as always! Sweet slappers adding savory flavor to our spicy stacks of cardstock. I'm glad we got a battle on here. I enjoy playing them. The highlighted one has some neat trivia. The first creature from Segovia was a Leviathan, but it was quite small comparatively, so they decided that the whole plane was going to be shrunk down and everything in the plane was way smaller. If you look at Caetus, the legendary serpent that the battle flips into, you will notice he's wrapping himself around a giant Phyrexian leg. But that Phyrexian isn't a giant. Segovia just has extremely tiny creatures. He might be a tiny guy giving his life to save his tiny plane, but man does he slap
@bettercommander12 күн бұрын
I did not know that. Magic is really bad at telling the story of their planes. You gotta dig into the youtube comments, lol.

@bettercommander yeah, some creator made a video about it. But if you look up the Segovian Leviathan, you can see he's immense compared to the whales swimming next to him, which then makes you ask the question of how on earth is it a 3/3 only?! Of course they had to come up with an entire plane to defend the odd design choices and now we have a humorous plane that I really want to go to.

General Marhault makes a great commander for all those old rampage creatures (including the original Marhault Elsdragon from Legends). Yes, General Marhault's ability and rampage stack.^^ Throw in some Lure effects and go nuts.

Having convoke or improvise spell manipulation in your 99 can go far. Inspiring Statuary, similar to, Caetus, Sea Tyrant of whatever, provides me so much mana in Shilgangster I find myself actually using the stupid little bloods. Throw chicken thighs, can of mixed veggies, onion, celery, potato into a crock pot and feel better, DOOD!

Battles are so hard to evaluate. Ive used Invasion of Segovia in Kasla the Broken Halo with much success thanks to Kasla. Definitely great in a deck that can capitalize on the convoke ability
@jramp312 күн бұрын
Not too interested in most Battles, but Invasion of Kaldheim does some good work in my Valduk deck. Mono-red card advantage and a way to turn later game extra lands into impulse draw. Works like a hot damn.
