Yo, i'm listening to Crew54 right now. Really digging Slap Rapz 2, you should advertise that a little more, man. Anyway, super helpful video (As usual). Thanks for that, keep 'em coming.

I'm a ham radio operator and remember using 2 buck condenser mike elements from Radio Shack on the air in the 1970s. They still pack a good sound for the money

ohh i might try to find one of those on ebay and see what I can do with it.

Great for 12 bucks! I prefer using boom mics but there's a need for lav mics now and then.
@DVZNMedia6 жыл бұрын
Yeah I feel the same way, I like boom mics, but Lav mics mos def have their place and time

They sent me one a couple days ago, and it sounds pretty darn good. Very impressed for how cheap it is. It sounds way better when you take the windsock thingy off, helps make the sound brighter.
@DVZNMedia4 жыл бұрын
Agreed! It actually sounds pretty good, much better than I thought it would.

JOE LEWIS WAS 75 YEARS OLD WHEN THEY FOUGHT! That mic sounds great for being so cheap. I've been using an Audio-Technica ATR4650 for years, but it might be replaced with this one.

Hahahaha now I gotta watch that movie

Man for $13 it sounds really good. if you don't have the money for a high end mic this is definitely better than audio from any camera body mic.
@DVZNMedia6 жыл бұрын
yeah I would suggest something like this for anyone who is still using the audio directly out of their camera

I might need to look into this. The one I have has a very "digitized" sound quality. This sounds pretty good for 12 bucks on the low.
@DVZNMedia6 жыл бұрын
which one are you using now?

Really good quality for a $12 lav....obviously a little more muffled and compressed compared to the Rhode but very good quality non the less

I have 2 lav's from pop voice like that. They aren't super high end. But for the price it isn't bad. especially if you are turning from the camera and what not it helps keep a better consistent audio source vs stationary on the camera.
@DVZNMedia6 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's how I would use it

Love the beard🙌🏾 I just got this mic! They sent it to me. I’m gonna do a review on my channel! I hope it works as well as others have said it does!

The mic sounds good it carries the lower tone in your voice well, but compare to your rode mic you lose some of the brightness that makes your voice pop but I think that can be adjusted in the gain settings so overall nice kit. good video
@DVZNMedia6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I left everything pretty raw in this video. I might do a video on how to edit a cheap lavalier for the best sound.

Shoot, I remember when I first found you back with the Drevo keyboard... Your channel has finally grown a bit! This was no exception to the rest of your videos: very well done and top notch quality! Keep it up Dookie!

Hey. I just added your group on Pandora. The tracks I've heard so far sound better than most mainstream artist on the top 100.
@DVZNMedia6 жыл бұрын
Man I appreciate that, I need to check us out on Pandora myself haha.

Nicely done bro! Quick question... With the longer cords on these lav mics, is there a cord "keeper" or something that you use to keep them from getting tangled up? I've been searching for something of the past 4 days...
@DVZNMedia6 жыл бұрын
I dunno, maybe something like some Velcro strips? I would just wrap it back up, use the Velcro and put it back in the back for storage.
