I really don't see how they are accessing the cavity below ground level. The brickwork will be sitting directly on a concrete strip foundation and should not have any access holes below ground.

There will be a cavity wall and there will be a lintel for pipes and cables going through it. We know rats. We know buildings. That’s why we are the only people who offer a lifetime guarantee 🤗

Just to look at this from a different angle for a second - that lengthy email from the other company. In your opinion, is it possible that they weren't looking to scam & instead they were just doing the best they could do with the knowledge they have ... just that their knowledge isn't as good as yours? Or is it absolutely no chance & they were pulling a fast one? Old video but in case you reply - how far in England are you willing to travel?

The company in question offers a 3 month “guarantee”. The guarantee has more holes than a net (not saying it’s a net to catch the unsuspecting and scared people of the South of England, but how else can you say it 🤷♂️). If they haven’t got the skill set they shouldn’t be taking peoples money. For this pathetic service they charge around £6-7k on average. Our guarantee is FOR LIFE and so very much less money. We cover the whole of the UK. But the further away from our base the more it costs. This isn’t because we want to charge more, but because while we are travelling we can’t do anything else. When they invent tele-transportation we will travel the world….but until then it is what it is. If you send an email saying: I’m interested in a Rat Free Lifetime Guarantee. Add your full address and postcode. We will reply with an introductory email that lays out everything for you. Send to help@pestinterceptors.co.uk

@sherryhunston6874 take a look through our Rats playlist, you may find your answers in there. Ps. Rats usually have a connection to a sewer. If that isn’t rectified you will never stop the rats.

I am having a terrible rat problem, I’ve caught 13 one summer in traps I even caught a couple of live ones this year. I had pest people out they just did the same thing as me they put pellets out and covered some holes but that didn’t work now I assume they are coming through the drainage I’ve even been thinking about selling my house it’s getting us down that bad
The first problem is knowing which pipe is broken ☺️

Out of interest how much does a job like this cost the owner? Also when u say rat free, does that include outdoor rats living around the outside of the house as it is difficult to control rats just walking into someone's yard and making a nest.

Was that special stainless called flexi armour by any chance, let’s just say the red trays give away the company and I’m kinda disappointed

I don’t think they had named the specific type of mesh, it wouldn’t have stopped the rat problem no matter what type it was to be honest. We see this kind of bad behaviour off so called professional pest experts every week. It angers us. Perhaps we do start naming and shaming 🤔 We shall definitely doing that with the bee killers this summer…another part of the industry that disgusts us!
