The black toes are my favorite Jordan 1's. I still have both the 2013 and 2016 pairs deadstock and was fortunate to cop a pair of these black toe reimagined last October for a little over retail. I'm a og at 54 so I'm cool with the Air Jordan text and understand the story behind the shoes. Will definitely double up on these when they release.

I like the difference! It reminds me of the Tinker 3's, like a sort of "prototype" or sample pair. I think this will become a really unique and sought after pair in time. The signature is a nice, subtle touch.

Definitely in the minority here but the Air Jordan text is what reeled me in. I’m an old head and to get that “sample” Jordan had draped around his neck in those photo shoots is the closest I’ll ever get to a sample or PE! Copped em last year off GOAT.

I really like these. It's a one of a kind unique 1st drop of this style that includes a sick shoe box. For OG collectors this is a good pick up but for most of the new school sneaker head resellers this is a hard pass, IMO.

The 2016 was also not the nicest leather, the lows that came out last year - was cheap - and now this. I coped the the j 1 low howards instead that have the same vibe nice details and nice leather

Funny thing is I grabbed mine when they were supposed to drop a couple months ago. Although I prefer the wings logo, the letters bring a different style. Didn't over pay for them either. They are a comfortable shoe in my opinion. Buy what you like. 👟

These will 100% sit when they release these are basically a consolation prize if u don't hit any of the other releases coming next month like the Travis Field Jaxx, Reimagined BM 5s, Bred 1s etc these come after all those. Which I feel was intentional by Nike/Jordan because they know not everyone may be able to get those pairs but. I think that's going to backfire on them because. YES YES YES the Air Jordan text instead of the wings logo is as MID as it gets. Let me explain: I had the original Jordan 1's back in 85-86 when I was a child and before the Jordan 1's came out I had a version of the Air Ships which had "Nike" text where the wings logo would be. So when Chicago 1's came out with the wings logo it was such an upgrade and soooo much better. Having the Air Jordan text instead of the Wings logo is just soo bad IMO. Sorry not Sorry

I bought my pair last year off Goat and I will say these are a very good shoe and a classic, sure they don’t have the wings logo on the side but overall it’s still fire and makes sense because it’s not meant to be identical to the OG.
