Does UNBENDING WILL suck? New Runeword - Diablo 2 Resurrected

Does the new Unbending Will runeword suck? Let's find out.

I used to play Diablo 2 quite a lot 15 years ago and I have returned to the game several times to have a few weeks of building wealth, getting some Enigmas and what not and then finding my account deleted from battle net after a few months if inactivity. Let's see how much I remember! I hope somebody will find these videos helpful. :)

I really wish that Concentrate worked like Smite and couldn’t miss. Also, if there was melee splash damage, It would bring major relevance to this runeword. Leap Attack in and Concentrate basically tanking everything for the rest of the players to kill. UW would be a great stepping stone for Pitzerkers. Either way, I love to start ladder out as Barb or Necro. This time it will be Barb because of this runeword.

Cool ideas, that would be quite an interesting change. What is your favorite playthrough build as a barbarian?

@@pixeljoe I like to create “Act(x) walkthrough games and do singing Barb focusing on BO first. Keeps people engaged, they can fight with safety and I use some item find along the way. That’s why I am particularly excited for that first Fal/Io rune. Being able to transition from Singer to Zerker (2h) or with a Rhyme. I would probably just rotate this: Pindle, Shenk, Overseer until I get gear for Trav running. I also think that the A3 merc may be underrated on a singing Barb for farming. 19yard Static Field is good and that would cover the problem with that build (long range aoe)

But who knows, if unbending will works as a WW weapon then I would run that!

One thing this has over Lawbringer for merc is the fact it deals much more damage and that will help the merc leech more life. Combine that with taunt, and the merc should be pretty tanky.

That is true. We will see how practical that is. I feel like the mercenary has to bring something that supports your kill speed either by direct damage increase or by just making your killing easier. The balling up with taunt might be interesting for that.

I do think this runeword is terrible, there is a lot of chance that you wont find an ethereal colossus blade 6 or 0 os before any 5os elite eth pole arm base for a obedience on an act 2 merc with the aura that you want. the only use of it is while you are levelling if you have no luck finding any good weapons, but you still have to find your colossus blade witch you wont find early since it is a the rarest and highest lvl sword in the game.

Not so good and difficult to find a base. Maybe if you could make it in all melee weapons...
