@@zoran6126 Thank you. For young people this works. For older people or those with poor immune systems (from poor diets like the ones most ppl eat) those people actually do need high quality supplements. Dr Eric Berg is a good place to start. May I say this; after intense work in corrections (dark environments, poor diets, high stress) as a RN, I observed 'miraculous recoveries' in those who supplemented with Vitamin D! One patient was hospitalized several times with no diagnosis except Vit D deficiency: he had respiratory symptoms (cough, low O2, malaise). He was able to afford supplements and made a full recovery. However, he would occasionally relapse and neglect his Vit D supplements for long periods; his symptoms would reappear! This was not an isolated incident: I observed these symptoms in many of my correctional patients. Also, those with fair skin and in particular, those with blue, green, or hazel eyes were most likely to have these symptoms. Also, African American patients also experienced the same. Sometimes they would also have unresolved/unexplained deep leg pain that didn't respond to pain relievers or stretching. I literally observed hundreds of patients over a period of 12 years. Let me also add that those with type 2 diabetes almost always had Vitamin/mineral deficiencies: supplements and diet education is a neccessary part of their maintenance and recovery of symptoms. Ty for your advice and sry for the long comment.

Vitamin D3 is in fact a hormone implicated in more than 350 important functions in the body, including the regulation of the expression of a large amount of genes, including the immune response. I believe that vitamin D has helped my immunity significantly since I started taking it a year ago. I've used sunblock for years and never supplemented with Vitamin D until this past year. My vitamin D levels were always very low in the past and I was always sick every winter with various viruses and infections. Since taking the Vitamin D supplement, I've found that I rarely get sick with viruses or infections anymore. This supplement has helped to improve my health better than either vitamin C or quercetin. I would recommend vitamin D to anyone trying to strengthen their immune system.

@@LibertyNotLicense There were so many supplements, I couldn't list them here and my body might have had different needs to another person's. However, in brief, I was diagnosed in December 2018 and better by May 2019. My approach was: a) Nutritional advice from The London Clinic of Nutrition, including anti-inflammatory diet and supplements to rebuild the gut barrier and support the liver. b) Work by an experienced Systematic Kinesiologist with a background in nutrution. c) Relaxation therapy like yoga, golf and meditation. Blood tests identified several inflammatory indicators like high ferritin and high anion gap (covid triggers these too). Other tests identified gut parasites including h-pylori which we used 'Toxaprevent' binders to eliminate (not antibiotics). Kinesiologist identified a virus (probably Epstein Barr) as first priority. High levels of vit. C and other supplements (glutathione, I think?) for this. I then used intermittent fasting (Dr Valter Longo) to clear out old virus, despite significant weight loss due to the disease already. Then we went on to deal with other priorities, ending up with taking Artemesia, a herb traditionally used in the treatment of malaria. (And what do doctors prescribe for lupus?...hydroxycholroquine!) Straight after that, lesions cleared up completely, weight returned, hair grew back, and I gradually returned to a normal diet. Any patient needs a good systematic kinesiologist to test what is required at each step of the way, determination to stick to the diet, support from close family, plus a decent budget for treatment and supplements. Since my experience, I've learnt of recoveries from many other severe chronic conditions. My wife is now qualifying as a systematic kinesiologist herself (hence the support I got), so I'm very fortunate.

As a public health nutritionist, I believe it would be helpful to be just a little more nerdy about the nature of "Vitamin D" and its metabolites. Unlike actual vitamins, cholecalciferol ("Vitamin D3") is normally synthesized in our bodies and is *not* characteristically found in a "well-balanced" diet. (Milk is said to be "fortified" rather than "enriched" with cholecalciferol (in those countries where this is actually required by law) because milk is not a significant source of this "vitamin" in its natural state. Furthermore, the "Vitamin D2" (ergocalciferol) derived from plant sources that is widely used to fortify milk "substitutes" is not even chemically identical to the "Vitamin D" produced in our bodies, which is similar to the relationship between phytoestrogens derived from plant sources and estrogen.) Moreover, because the active forms of "Vitamin D" (calcidiol and calcitriol), like the active forms of "estrogen" (estradiol and estriol), function as steroidal hormones, what we are doing by taking "Vitamin D" in pill form is essentially hormone replacement rather than "supplementation".

Not exactly. I'm just asking that we get away from the notion that cholecalciferol insufficiency is a nutritional matter with a "dietary" solution. the real problem of establishing causality is the fact that Vitamin D Deficiency can be a marker for overall bad health, ppl that tend to supplement themselves tend to be health conscientious and most ppl don't supplement themselves with vitamin D. so Studies should give vitamin D or placebo randomly to two big groups of patients with vitamin D deficiency found randomly and wait for them to get a cold or COVID, Evaluate the Specific illnes course and severity and finally control for a ton of variables related to prognosis pre and post disease and that could be of enough potency.

Covid 19 1. Risks of COVID are vastly overstated 2. Renowned doctors and epidemiologists criticize the COVID panic 3. SARS-CoV-2 has not been isolated, and RT-PCR tests are not appropriate diagnostic tools 4. “Flattening the curve” was unjustified 5. Lockdowns are entirely ineffective 6. Lockdowns are extremely harmful 7. Lockdowns were based on politics, not science 8. Mask-wearing is ineffective and harmful 9. The COVID computer models were extremely inaccurate 10. Media sources distorted and exaggerated information 11. The public substantially overestimate their risks from COVID 12. Nocebo effect: Fear as a cause of COVID symptoms 13. Non-viral causes of “COVID” symptoms 14. Effective treatments exist 15. Lockdowns have been legally challenged (US) Summary • Scientific evidence and statistics clearly demonstrate that masking, social distancing, and lockdowns are completely ineffective at decreasing infection and mortality and have dire adverse effects - severe psychological deterioration (especially in children), high suicide rates, economic collapse and destruction of small businesses, unprecedented expansion of government oppression, censorship, and enforced homogenity of thought. • Lockdowns were initially justified by the claimed need to “flatten the curve” to prevent overloading of ICU ventilator capacity, but ICUs were not overloaded. Ventilators were largely inappropriate and caused extreme levels of unnecessary deaths compared to milder treatments. The justification for the lockdowns has since shifted to “reducing new cases”, with no regard for the actual danger they represent, or harmful effects of these measures. • Unlimited lockdowns and compulsory masking mandates which bypass existing legal structures are historically unprecedented. To avoid cognitive dissonance, the general public assumes that the threat of COVID must be proportional to the extreme nature of these measures. • Implementation of lockdowns was motivated by political posturing and misinformation, not evidence and public health. The word “science” has been taken to mean “government mandate”, and has been used to slander and suppress evidence-based narratives. The general public has neither the means nor the motivation to evaluate the scientific evidence, and must accept the declarations of non-scientist politicians and politicized scientists, whose voices are amplified by media outlets. • Media outlets manipulated and distorted information to support a narrative of fear, dependency, and self-righteousness. As a result, polls show that people enormously overestimate their risk of dying from COVID. • Numerous top experts (medical doctors, professors) have publicly spoken out against the dominant COVID narratives and the government responses to it. Even by conservative estimates, lockdowns caused more deaths than were attributed to COVID. • COVID RT-PCR tests do not actually test against viral isolates, and despite their widespread use are not diagnostic tests, but laboratory tools for amplifying DNA fragments. Many scientists have severely criticized their use. • COVID is, at most, a minor threat to the world population - and at least, a statistical abstraction. Unprecedented and politically influenced rules for recording COVID-positive deaths artificially inflated death rates. More than half of COVID deaths occurred in nursing homes, and nearly all COVID deaths occurred in people with several other major comorbidities. Healthy people are not at risk. The age distribution of COVID deaths is the same as the normal age distribution of deaths; most COVID deaths occurred in people over 65 years old. • Actual causes of respiratory death in “COVID hotspots”, most significantly air pollution, have been extensively recorded in the scientific literature but are completely absent from media narratives and political consideration. • Safe and highly effective treatments, including natural non-pharmaceutical interventions which have been published in scientific journals, have not been widely utilized. • The “pandemic” is a combination of pre-existing conditions relabeled as COVID, recent increases in environmental causes of respiratory disease, excess deaths due to inappropriate treatments, and fear and expectation producing or intensifying the actual symptoms of “COVID”. • Constantly reading, hearing about, and internalizing the dominant disempowering fear-based narrative has been demonstrated to produce the actual expected symptoms of the disease through the nocebo effect. • Dispelling the fear and questioning the narrative actually saves lives, while masking, social distancing, and lockdowns do not, and contribute to the deterioration of physical, psychological, and economic health. • If we are to actually promote health and regeneration in our communities and the world, we must promote narratives that are based in evidence and wisdom, and focus on creative solutions that address all of the interconnected challenges we face today.

An opinion comment before watching, from a citizen educating themselves on our immune system, both innate, adaptive, microbiome, viome, ect. Plus viewing our body from an engineering perspective, such as Input, Output, Transport or flow of information, Conversion or integration process of new inputs, plus the overall storage or structural framework from which these 4 aspects occur ( Eg virus = new input or new agent. Storage = Physical body or arena ) Vitamin D is an output that results from the input and conversion of UV light. Our system then manufactures anti microbial peptides, namely Cathelicidin's, which are deployed as part of the innate, or immediate response to a new input that poses a risk to fostering a systems disruption or imbalance. These peptides surround the membrane of a virus, for example, breaking down its system and allowing for its transportation out of the body. A balanced system would result in a balanced elimination of that which does not contribute to its own symbiotic functioning.

In addition, Omega 3 and the D3 supplement contributes to healthier human skin (without premature wrinkles). It helps us reduce blood cholesterol levels. We must include Omega 3 & D3 supplements daily physical exercise routines. The consumption of water (eight ounces at morning, noon and dinner) improves our quality of life; and reduces dependencies on medications. see if someone gave them a hard time for being snitches and hall monitors in school things wouldn't be this way. But because we over coddle people growing up now; they have become over sensitive, easily offended, entitled (most of the time), and don't realize what they are doing make people not like them.

Demonetizing is at least treatable: I have become a patron in channels that have addressed issues that could become sensational. Taking videos down is a whole different level. How is Dr. Hansen supposed to pass on his knowledge if he can't document the sources?

@@Morristown337 Ridiculing people who are trying to make things better is the wrong way to go. I have no problem with "snitches" - if people stop doing things they are ashamed to admit there is no problem with snitches. I have only disgust for lowlifes like that. FWIW, the high school I went to did not have hall monitors. Instead, groups of bullies hung around, intimidating and beating people. When the school was swept by a race riot it made national news because the police refused to come on campus. When somebody firebombed the school library the firemen refused to come on campus without the police, who still refused to respond. I was ambushed, knifed, and left for dead a couple months later. Be _very_ careful what you wish for.

@@Morristown337 "because we over coddle people growing up now; they have become over sensitive, easily offended, entitled (most of the time), and don't realize what they are doing make people not like them." Yes, and I also think that a general lack of quality education these days leaves them unable to discern which sources are trustworthy and which are not. They are being taught WHAT to think, not HOW to think.

The video died at "tough questions to answer". On the question of should people supplement, and if so, how much, it's not that tough. The answer is yes. 1-4,000 IU. Higher if you're overweight and/or dark skinned, lower if you aren't. I'm slender and light skinned. I take 2000 IU. I had Covid with no issues, despite being over 60.

While there may not yet be definitive proof, one way or t'other, to indicate whether Vitamin D supplementation may be beneficial to help fight off a novel-coronavirus infection, the fact that many of us are likely to have a Vitamin-D deficiency is enough for me to take it. Up until a couple of days ago, I supplemented solely with multivitamins, but now I am additionally taking 1,000iu Vitamin-D3. Either way, it will do me no harm, so why not?

Multivitamins are a good start, but are only normally good enough for the daily needed amounts of minerals. So you should also supplement with additional vitamin B, C, D3, E, Zinc, Co-Q10, Omega-3, and possibly milk thistle too (if you’re a drinker).
