Great! Fortunately, I leave the water for my plants get to room temperature before watering. I also, sometimes, add a drop or two of a product for fish tank water to remove some of the mineral in one litre of water. This helps eliminate some of the chlorine found in it.

.. This is Perfect ☺️ I've always boiled my water and left it to cool down to room temperature before use for watering.. I also use it to clean the leafs.. When giving my plants a shower (in the bathroom), I also use lukewarm water, simply because I was thinking it should remind of the soft rain where they comes from.. And they seem to like it.. During summer most of them are outside in the garden, so they will also have the real rainy and windy days and whatever days, and they seem to like that too.. Unless it turns into heavy storms and drowning rain like last year..

I was just wondering about this today. I thought about root shock, but I never connected it to hindering nutrient uptake. Thank you for your informative video, as always

Greetings from Helsingfors. Could you make a video about light for us northerners? I'm really struggling with concepts like direct sunlight, indirect bright light, half shade and so forth especially during our winter. If the sun doesn't shine for weeks does having your plant on a south window still count as direct sunlight? Most of our winter days are gloomy and gray. Are these days still considered bright on a plant light scale? All light guides take it for granted that you have real unfiltered sunlight every day, but what then when you don't?

I fill jars of water ahead of time and use that. But, I have a comment and a question. I asked you a question awhile back and never received a response. I have noticed you don't respond or maybe you have and I didn't see it. My question is this....I purchased a Hoya in a self-watering pot awhile back and I know Hoyas don't like to sit in wet soil as they like to dry out. I have no idea what type of soil it is in but the plant looks healthy and shows growth. Do you recommend I continue to keep water in the bottom chamber or wait until the soil is dry to add water?

I use water from my sweetwater aquaria to most of my plants. I do a 10-20% waterchange a week anyways. Temperature approx 10-25 deg celcius. And bonus is that I export excess nutrients from the aquaruia to the plants. It,s just my koffeplant that does not like the aquaria water so I give it only rainwater that I collect and keep indors until used. The coffeplant really struggled until I changed to rainwater. Sen känns det ju lite dumt att skriva på engelska när man kommenterar en skånsk youtuber :). Men jag antar att de flesta som läser inte kan svenska.

I read that this person runs a picture of tap water then drops a banana peel in it. They let it sit overnight then waters his plants next day. He says it adds great potassium. Will houseplants thrive with is watering method?
