58:50 this is me. I cut off like 3 close friends from school because they're demotivating. All they would talk about is IG models & FIFA. I've cut people off cause they stopped going gym, I've cut people off because they wanna keep rapping rather than get a career. I have a very low tolerance for mediocrity. That makes no sense. We all have friends that may not be on our mental level doesn’t mean they can’t be your friend. Just means you can’t build with them. I keep the people I can build with around MORE but I also keep those I can’t build with around for those normal casual days

It's inevitable that we'll drift apart, so I save time by disassociating with them sooner. We can still be cool, we just won't be friends.

You know some people don’t give a f*ck about all that right? Some people just wanna be able to pay their bills, smoke their weed and look after themselves. Doesn’t mean I’ll cut them off for that. Now its different if you said you’ll cut your friend off cos he’s slimey or fake but just cutting them off cos they don’t want what you want is crazy. That’s still you’re friend lol. Really good point at 29:30 by chinx and I’ve been thinking this too, I’m a black man, love black women but I used to wonder why black women are so angry and bitter and I think one of the reasons why is because their physical appearance is a facade, imagine waking up everyday to put on a face or an appearance you know is nothing like your natural one there’s gonna be an element of self resentment
