It’s always tempting to want to buy every new thing, especially if there’s any hype around it. It’s pretty easy too to buy things you didn’t plan on if it’s on sale or a good price. I’ve always tried to stick to characters I have an emotional attachment to to try to save on space and funds. I’ve dipped into multiple toy lines and mix vintage and modern. I think where my collection is reflects the properties or characters that mean the most to me. It is hard too not to over buy a character when so many toy lines are able to do their own interpretation. The most recent figure I bought was wave 2, I think, McFarlane Super Powers Wonder Woman. I was only going to collect Batman characters from this line but my Walmart finally had that wave on sale. Even though she was only a couple bucks, I kinda regret buying her now because the red cape stained her shoulders. A lot of my focus lately though has been Kenner Batman Returns/Dark Knight Collection and vintage Turtles. I am pretty excited about the modernized Street Sharks! The vintage seem to be hard to find or at a decent price.

I like this video. For a long time I’ve been a wrestling figure collector, but I’m looking to downsize my collection and I’ve decided to give one shelf in my bookshelf to a toy collection of things I enjoy. So I’m planning on getting my one toy grail (Shogun Godzilla) and then random one offs like Sewer Samurai Leo, Frankenstein’s monster, a mythic legion, Boba Fett, etc. my vintage wrestling collection will live on in its glass case in my office
