Exactly. FB has been heavily censoring and micro banning conservative content or people. Most my conservative friends were blocked from FB for nothing except expressing their personal political beliefs. They did absolutely no bullying or posting of anything that would warrant such action. Meanwhile I watched as many of my liberal friends on FB have their political posts shared constantly and aggressively, many with bullying content and even some showing very crude and violent depictions of Trump. But if you said anything in an even slightly negative tone against Biden, FB would block you. And then we come to find out how much child porn and other drug and sex trafficking activity has been going on on FB, and we're supposed to believe that Zuckerberg and FB "didn't know"? They shouldn't just sue them for monetary compensation to those whose relatives have been injured because of these platforms. They need to take punitive actions to the owners and employees that have made those things possible, either by action or inaction. If jail is a possibility, it's the only way things are going to change for the better. They have enough money to pay any sue, lobbies and lawyers.

I left social media months ago I feel that it affected my attention span and found myself endlessly scrolling through the algorithm. Now I’m not saying social media is bad but it held me back from everyday life and having real experiences I find myself much happier now.

Technically, KZbin is a form of social media now too, so it’s inaccurate to say you “left it” when you are posting a comment on one of those platforms. I’m not trying to be pedantic, especially considering I am also commenting on KZbin, but it is worth noting that this platform has suffered the same scrutiny associated with other media platforms censoring information, using algorithms to push topics that they deem fit your interests, and likely containing content that should not be available online (or anywhere for that matter).

What sucks is that a truly honest company would acknowledge their faults and work with those that criticize them in order to help the public out of compassion. The truly evil ones will deny it all and refuse to do anything for the public, doubling down on their abuse.

There aren't any truly honest companies. At least not billion dollar ones. They only care about money and power. Even google (youtube) is likely recording all your viewed videos, up/down votes, and comments, parsing the data with AI and making a profile of who you are (likes, political views, etc) and tying it to your IP and any other identifiable info. That could in theory then get passed to any fed dept if they wished. There was a story a few years back that a dad discovered his daughter was pregnant before she told him, because the department store she was shopping at was logging all her in store purchases and mapping it to mailing address. They mailed the house with advertisements and coupons for baby supplies for your new addition. Our data is the product and it can be formed as a weapon against us.
