Excellent lesson. Very clearly explained and executed. You're absolutely right Iommi used this to massive effect and could make a simple root/5th chord sound like it could destroy small cities. Another band that used this extremely well was Trouble, especially during their years with Rick Rubin and Plastic Green... would love to see some of their riffs and tone explained in the future. Thank you for your contributions to guitar sir.

Josh WW I’ve heard people say a String Butler helps a lot, but have never tried one myself. Can install one without modding your guitar at all. Otherwise best thing you can do is make sure your nut is cut correctly, put some graphite in there when you restring, make sure your strings are wrapped correctly and stretched, etc.
