Bakugo condensing the explosions worked, that wasn't the issue. Issue was that it still wasn't enough. So shigaraki just grabbed him through the explosion.

I still don’t know how I feel about that, he had all his quirks being erased and he just got a little burn on his face. I get that his physical body is enhanced but he should have walked away from that looking like All For One did after Prominence Burn

@@BraxtonsBizarreAdventure prominence burn is pure heat, howitzer impact cluster is split between force and heat. Plus the difference between all for ones body and shigarakis body is alot.
