Whenever I watch this series I realize a lot of mistakes I also make and this just makes me so conscious of what I do wrong and what I do right. I'm not a heim player but I pick him up just to play something different and the pre portal placement is something I'm definitely gonna keep in mind.

I am rank 10 on Heim, I have never once done a short portal by placing 2 portals quickly....let alone portalled forward. I always use the portal just for a far enough escape to be out of the fight completely. Then again, I am just an arena casual and haven't played ranked conquest in 8 years or something.

I would love to see those god guides you talked about around the 20min mark. I feel like I definitely don’t know major mechanics/tricks for most gods I play and there is such limited info in the game to support the learning process

19:47 I love going to check the ability demo for a god, and seeing something that has not existed for 2+ years! Seriously though, there are so many ways HR could improve the learning experience yet I doubt that aspect even gets considered within the next couple of years. Give REAL pros v.s. cons, synergy examples depending on the role, TEACH PEOPLE THAT AA CANCEL EXISTS, this feels like less than the bare minimum

I agree the Heim had some work to do in the opening minutes, like using the portals or keeping his sword ward in the air. But at the start his support, the Charon was playing too far back. He was letting the Ares walk up for free and was late to the silver buff. Plus he (Charon) didn't stand in the camp circle to tank it so both of them got wiped. Might be a bit of elo heaven for the support too. Glad he took his criticism in stride. This is a good reminder for us all that if you don't know what a god does to take a few minutes and read the abilities!

I normally start my 1 it's faster than aa cancelling but at level 2 always get your 3 so you can start AA cancelling the wave and keep up with high clear hunters

Would you say Atalanta's is good on Heim? I've always felt that unless Qin's is in a very strong state, you'd be better off building something else on Heim since his autos are at a minimum 30% slower than other hunters meaning 30% less Qin's procs. Full Pen + Atk Spd is what I would think makes sense on him, and building Atalanta's right after Dev's would be a huge Flat Pen power spike. I don't know how you'd lose lane at least at the point of that spike. However one thing I do know is NEVER build crit on Heim, and with crit being so good right now, Heim is just not the pick.
