Ren is independent, he told many labels to take a hike. Been there done that. PT- physical trainer. He makes all his beats, lyrics, writes all his music/songs, composes and produces it all. The exception to the beats are on his re-take videos and he gives the beat makers name in the title usually. He makes no money off them. He has a few cameramen and has a company do his graphics. He has used the same people for 7+ yrs.

That's what the tune "Power" is about. He decided to make it in a couple days after finally getting out of a terrible contract with an agency. Such an upbeat tune yet is still Ren all day. 🤙

His contract was with Sony and it wasn't a terrible contract. The decision to part ways was agreed upon by both Sony and Ren as his ill health at that time prevented him from performing live and for most of the time making music. He was in bed 23 hrs a day at that time - he had zero energy and he had no idea how long he was going to be out of action for. It made sense to end the contract at that time and Ren said he felt a weird sense of guilt because he felt he let people down and at the same time helpless that he couldn't do anything to change the situation.

Ren is the beat maker. He started making drum and bass beats when he was 12 years old. He's 33 now so has been at this for a long time.

3:20 The producer is Ren. He does 98% of his own beats & backing tracks. This definitely isn't on the level of "Losing It" but it's a good track with a very moving quality to it. Ren was signed with Sony. He got sick and couldn't handle the live shows and pressure to keep the pace of the label and chose to give up the contract. He spent 10 years searching for answers and when he was finally diagnosed and feeling a bit better he started getting back into music. Sony allowed him to use the music he had already made with their producer to put on his album. He has been independent ever since. Also the big push only spit up because Ren went over seas for treatment. You should check out the other members music.
