Sleep Token has consistently put out some of the most intense lyrics that make me feel the music on a whole other level. Particularly with this song. I'm loving watching you discover this band and having such a blast! It's truly an experience. I was lucky enough to see them live last year. It was a bad festival venue, half the crowd wasn't into it (their loss), and I was stuck in the back. It was still one of the best shows of my life. I think the masks are more-so so they can be who they want to be and act how they want without judgement of their looks (which to me makes sense as an average weird white man lol) but they lyrics and music are about Vessles dealing with the dark side and "Sleep" being the ultimate sleep. What makes it even more incredible is that Vessel writes and performs all lyrics, vocals, piano/synth, guitar, and bass for the album recordings. III and IV only play bass and guitar on tour (and then Espera are the backup vocals/chorus behind Vessel). Vessel and II are the sole musical writers and performers on the recordings, though, and it is.. just unreal that anyone is capable of all of that.

This song is a freaking MASTERPIECE. The end makes me go absolutely feral every time, it goes SO HARD. I haven't seen them live yet but it's my DREAM to attend as many of their shows as I can one day. I love the soft and hard stuff but ive never heard such beautiful lyrics mixed with the drums guitar and bass. Vessel is an intimidating pianist. I dont know why they arent on the radio. First time watching you. Sleep Tolen became my fave band last year. You have to see them live. I’ve been to a lot of concerts and they were the best concert experience of my life. Thanks for this! It was like the first time I heard them!
