Hi Howard and Katelyn...love watching your adventures, you two are part of our week. Happy Birthday to the cuties and hug to Scout! Why can't I find any of your Alaska videos? I have looked and it just goes back to right before you went to Mexico last year.
@NewstateNomads4 жыл бұрын
Barbara, we're so glad you're along for the journey! There's a simple reason for no Alaska videos, we weren't making videos yet! 😂 Our channel started this year right before we crossed into Mexico. We do hope to start releasing some "catch-up" episodes from earlier adventures, like our fantastic visit to Alaska, Europe, and even the rarely explored Hawaiian island of Moloka'i! 👍 -Howard

Hi! I'm from a beach Town in México, i found you guys after watching El dodo, i have a 6 year old Dog very similar to scout, also a rescue Dog, so your video made me cry happy tears, greetings from Veracruz

Hoping your application is successful- saw that your friends ( Eat See RV) weren't. How gorgeous that pooch birthday party. How are they getting along now? Exciting developments. Love the scenery and enjoy traveling with you. I know the USA is a country not on our list-mainly due to the time and money. My priority is and always will be, getting myself to New Zealand and Australia to see my children and grandchildren. So looking at the beautiful countryside and places you visit is a real gem for me. Stay safe, take care and keep smiling. 👍🎥❤️🌷🙋♀️

Curious as to why Mexico. Anything to do with COVID-19? Oh yea. Happy belated birthday to the doggies
@NewstateNomads4 жыл бұрын
It is sort of related to Covid-19, Ed. Our first trip around Mexico was interrupted because of COVID, and we wanted to continue exploring later. With the non-essential border closures, we had to research another way and temporary residency provides us permission to cross freely for 12 months (up to 3 more years with extension). Seemed like a great solution! -Howard

Hi Newstate Nomads! I loved the video and and news that you are headed back to Mexico. I hope you get the approval for becoming temporary Mexican residents. Looking forward to more Mexico videos.

Now that you have had Scout a while, i'm surprised she hasn't put a bit more meat on her bones. She still looks a little thin to me. Hip bones showing etc. Does she eat well ? Been wormed ?
@NewstateNomads4 жыл бұрын
Its a great point. We've had her tested for heartworm (negative) and other diseases, but are looking into taking her to the vet for a check-up. Will ask about deworming her since we've noticed the same about her weight/build and want a recommendation on target weight. 👍 -Howard

I found the time line a little confusing but I’m sure it’s just me. Happy birthday doggies 🐾
@NewstateNomads4 жыл бұрын
Gary, thanks as always for watching. Not really sure what you mean about the timeline? This episode covers about a week of time during Piper and Ella's birthday and as we prepare for our Mexican consulate appointment. Was there something specifically that confused you?
@garyaberle6034 жыл бұрын
Newstate Nomads I guess I thought u might have an adventure after the bite. But then u had gone back in time for some Mexican stuff especially when talking about your temp resident statuses. Then there was the dogs birthdays which happened before Cujos bite? I guess u we’re doing highlights? I just wasn’t sure. But I liked it just the same.

Sound like we may be in the same area of Colorado right now, after watching this we are also thanking of the temp Mexican residents visa.
@NewstateNomads4 жыл бұрын
Temporary resident visas are really a solid choice! We'll have more about the process and benefits when we release the episode on our appointment at the Mexican Consulate, but if you're considering traveling around Mexico (particularly with the non-essential border closures during Covid-19) it's a great decision. 👍 Hope you'll continue on the journey with us! -Howard

I’d be curious to hear more about the temp residency process. I caught you on the replay of Virtual Campground and I think you said the results, but I’ll keep mum! I recently found Snow and Curt’s channel, they also quarantined in Mexico and are back on the road now.

You can tell me, I'll keep the secret.✌️😜
@NewstateNomads4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for keeping the secret going, Tara! ❤️😂 We have a much more thorough video coming soon that goes along with our visit to the Mexican Consulate in Denver that walks through the process, options to qualify, and considerations vs tourist visas, permanent residency, etc. Someone recommended Snow and Curt to us a few months ago, and we connected with them (virtually)! They went to several of the same places we did in Mexico, like Grutas de Tolantongo. We'd love to meetup when we head south again, looks like they'll still be in Mexico for a while!

First Howard, happy (belated) birthday and welcome to 40. Second, CO Ski Country is just awesome, as someone once said, you come for the winters and stay for the summers up there. Lastly, Glad to see the pups are behaving with their training!!

Thanks so much, it was a great time with Katelyn and the fur babies. You're 100% right about Colorado up in the mountain towns, we could definitely see the appeal of staying long term! One summer wasn't enough, we will be back again to continue exploring. 👍 -Howard

Susie, so glad you're along for the journey! We try and keep life fun on and off camera, but it is important to recognize as you have that pets/animals can exhibit jealousy, competition along with dominance just like humans. Thanks so much for watching! 👍 -Howard

Try FedEx for printing. I have literally dozens of documents for various investments. (I think I had 19 1099's for last tax season) I just loaded them on a thumb drive and told the printer to print all. In and out in 5 minutes. Vale looks AMAZING!

We will definitely have to give FedEx a try next time. Funny part was we didn't even realize that it was another Office Max until I was standing at the copier and recognized the slow menus... 😂

Excellent decision to move to Mexico. My wife and I did it 2 1/2 years ago and never looked back. We are now living in San Miguel de Allende, the most marvelous town with fantastic people. If you ever make it here, look us up. If you want to find out more about San Miguel de Allende, check our blog at www.ourprimeoflife.com. Saludos
