I can't put into words how happy videos like this make me. It is so obvious how much this woman loves her dog -- it shows not only in the video, but in her voice and her words. Thank you for giving Harvey the life and love he deserves. It makes no sense to get a dog, just to tie it up in the backyard. Why?

My husband says anybody who does that is a sorry excuse for a person. We *DO* have an outdoor dog. But he has the whole yard. A condo dog house. We tried to make him be a house dog (he's long coated) and he was miserable. But if you limit a dog's freedom to 10 feet of chain? Awful.

​@jade fire my mom had a dog like that too...totally welcome to be inside but he just wanted to be outside chilling on the porch. Bring him inside and 5 minutes later he's asking to go out. I say let the dog choose!

Always have rescued...always will. I'm 60, my entire life I've had dogs. I'm proud to say they have always come from rescues, unwanted babies, found wandering the streets, etc. They are the most amazing, loving ones in my opinion.🌼

Harvey is what I call a "dog-dog" in that he's adorable and mixed breed. My dog is the same way and she's just cute and lovable, too. I'd never get a pure breed....only adopt or like my Abby, rescue from the desert.

It really pisses me off how some people should never own animals, yet still seem to get them and destroy an animals life. There has got to be a way to keep these type of people from owning animals. Luckily Harvey's story has a Happy ending with 2 parents and little brother that love him the way Harvey loves them, unconditionally!!!! He is thriving in his new home. I wish every animal had this type of forever home.

He looks exactly like my boy Cooper who is from similar circumstances. In and out of the shelter 3 times, unsocialized, and 75 lbs. He didn't trust people and was a little unpredictable. It took a long time to overcome his rough start. Today, he is the bestest boy. When people ask me what he is, I tell them, "Half clown, half hooligan". He makes these crazy "Chewbacca" noises, and occasionally bays. I think he is living his best life.

wow this video could be about my pup - so many similarities, from the rough beginning and separation anxiety to goofy snoring, resting his head on top of mine, putting his paws on my shoulder, we even live in and explore Oregon! He looks like our female dog Rosie: she's 3/4 boxer, and 1/4 collie; she's nearly 13 years old, and just recently her health took a bit of a turn for the worse: at present she's on antibiotics for an infection. Harvey has similar mannerisms to our Rosie, but she's slowed down a lot: it was lovely watching your video, it reminded me of all the energy, and mischief she used to get up to. I wish Harvey, and yourselves lots more fun and adventures for the future. ❤
