I am a third generation Dog Face Soldier... My Grandpa served in the Korean War with them, one of my uncles was with them in Germany in the 80's and I served with them from 2003-2008 and deployed to Iraq three times with them... perhaps someday when I have kids they may become Dog Face Soldiers as well... HOOOAH!!!!!

What memories! We were a Marne Family in 3-7th Cav, Ledward Barracks, Schweinfurt, '77-'80! Garry Owen! Rock of the Marne! And years earlier, as an Army Brat, I remember our family (Dad (infantry), Mom, and my little brother and sister) singing Dog Face Soldier as we drove from PCS to PCS back in the 1950s and early 60s, windows down with no a/c in our Plymouth station wagon.
