Dog Hilariously Trust-Falls Onto Her Owner

Nala’s morning trust-fall onto her human has captured the hearts of TikTokers. After she started doing it, her owner, Chris Lindamood, knew he had to get it on camera. Especially because he tried to teach her to do it years before but wasn’t successful. “I watched it, and I still watch it so many times,” Chris told Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall. “Just her little tail wagging and everything. It's just so perfect.

My dog passed away last year and it left a hole in my heart. This reminded me of her so much because she used to do the same exact thing. She would jump up where I was whether I was sitting on the couch or laying in bed and then just fall back knowing that every time she did, I would catch her and embrace her. She trusted me so much and I'm truly thankful for having such a loving trusting dog like her. I miss her everyday.

My labradane does this once-in-a-while in bed, he also plobs his head or neck across my neck trying to get me up, and runs and jumps onto my platform bed biting my ankles, feets, etc. I pull the covers over me and he thinks its a game of biting through the covers for my hands, etc. Pushes his long legs against the wall pushes his body towards me lol

Doing anything daily is already huge! It doesn’t have to be crazy or anything. Maybe spice it up once a week if you want though. I would start with local walking trials if you have any nearby. I bet a quick 1 mile trail could be done in the same time you’d spend at the dog park but it would be a change of view for you both and a new place to smell and explore. You don’t need to go far or anywhere fancy. Dogs just wanna be with you and make memories and have fun. Hell, hanging in your yard is just as much fun as climbing a mountain if they get to be with you.

We had a Poxer (Boxer/Pit mix) who did this with anyone who came over for a visit. We referred to it as his fall-back. He was such a fierce looking dog, so much so that those who were ignorant of Pits were sometimes afraid of him based solely on his looks. That is, until he did his fall-back on them. Then they melted and wanted to take him home with them. He was such a sweet beta-boy, definitely NOT a force to be reckoned with unless it involved being soaked up in his love. He was such an amazing pooch, such a sweetheart, incredibly GORGEOUS, both inside and out. We were so lucky and blessed to have had him in our lives and we in his for over 16 years. Best part of this thing we call life is the dogs. Definitely the dogs, no ifs, ands, buts, or even butts, that is, unless it’s a wagging dog butt. ;]
