Everyone asking for plans... I feels like it's super simple. Look at the size of your dog...measure your space, maybe you want it the height of your table? It's so simple to come up with what you need ❤️ I was hoping he had plans too but... its super easy 😌 not called DIY for nothin

Very nice work. I wonder what material did you use on the top? What are the dimensions of the Kennel?

Looks good. What was the cost for making this?
@JLWoodArtistries Жыл бұрын
I’m sorry. I’m not exactly sure what I spent at this point in time. Plus I already had some of the materials. I’d bet for one similar in size you might be looking at $300 or so. That’s with using soft wood like I did. Using hard wood will definitely make it more durable but the price will drastically increase. Hope that helps. Take care.

Do you have plans or a cut sheet for this one? Need to build one for my German Shepherd :)

I’m sorry. I didn’t create plans or a cut list for this project. I just figured it out as I went. Thanks for watching.

How far down from the top of the upper cross members do you put the groove for the z clips?
@JLWoodArtistries10 ай бұрын
I cut the grooves 1/2” down from the top. That was for the Z Clips I used so it might be a good idea to check the dimensions of the clips you are using to make sure your cuts are in the correct spot.

Thank you. How did you put the back panel on? Looks like you inset a 2x2 next to the back legs and attached it to that??
@matthewwright418810 ай бұрын
One last question, what size forstner bit did you use?
@JLWoodArtistries10 ай бұрын
@@matthewwright4188That’s a great catch. I never realized until now that I didn’t include that in the video. You are correct but they the same thickness as the horizontal rails so probably closer to 1x1. If I remember right, they were glued and brad nailed to the inside of the legs and then the back panel was glued and screwed to them, the rails, and the legs.

@@matthewwright4188I want to say it was the same size as the conduit, which was 1/2”

Do you have plans
@JLWoodArtistries3 жыл бұрын
I don’t unfortunately. I had dimensions of the space the table was going to need to fit into but just really figured it out as I went along.

Did you paint interior before?
@JLWoodArtistries2 жыл бұрын
I did. I figured it would be easier to paint it before assembly. That way I didn’t have to paint in between all the bars.

I’m sorry I don’t. I drew up a sketch to stay organized but nothing really that thorough and I didn’t keep it after the project was completed. I’m sorry.

What breed of dog do you guys have?
@JLWoodArtistries3 жыл бұрын
We have a hound mix and a terroir mix. Both were rescues so we don’t know their exact breeds.

I’m sorry, I don’t have any dimensions to share. I made this project custom to fit into a space for a friend’s new puppy. Thanks for watching. Take care.

I was wondering why you spent so much time grinding the ends of the conduit that would be hidden in holes, then I saw your USAFA cap and it immediately clicked. Fast, Neat, Average...
@JLWoodArtistries2 жыл бұрын
I chose to grind the ends smooth to prevent injury or metal splinters before installing them. It wasn’t really needed for project, more for safety. I’m not FGG, but if I could go back in time and redo some things, that would have been one. I’m a supporter of our military and used to be a first responder until an injury. Oh, and Falcons football is the best. Thanks for watching.
